It's PERFECT! My son will wear it as part of his Spiderman Noir Halloween costume this year. He will be able to wear it after as a regular vest. It fits him perfectly and looks great!

The quality is quite good, it fits my 6 year old son perfectly. Doesn't have an unpleasant odor. I think he will be able to wear it this winter, although I bought it just for his graduation costume.

I was really surprised by the quality of this vest. I have thought it would be sort of plasticity, but it's not at all. It does seem to me to be cut skinny, since my son is very thin this isn't an issue, but you might want to keep that in mind.
