Question 1

Has Philips changed the led controller where you can't split the strips to go into two directions? I don't see that connector compatible

Accepted Answer

I have a setup that goes from controller to one of these “Direct to controller” adapters and then to a splitter. From the splitter you then need to go back to either the small pinout (another direct to controller) for the start of the strip or if you have cut a strip you will need a connector which can connect to the cut part of the strip directly. Litcessory sells one of those also.

Question 2

So will these corner adapters work with my phillips hue lightstrips plus or not, i am so confused?

Accepted Answer

Hi there! This particular product is the direct-to-controller adapter. You would want this if you need to connect directly to a Philips Hue controller box with the detachable light strip. Our flex corner adapters can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HHJ2CFH

The flex corner adapter is great for 90 degree turns. They plug into the male/female ends of the Philips Hue lightstrip and our other Litcessory products. Feel free to message us directly if you have any other questions!

Question 3

Can i connect 4 runs with one control box and power adapter?

Accepted Answer

I connected 3 runs, I used the direct-to-controller off the control box then a splitter for 2 runs ..then used the RJ45 to 6-Pin for my third run. I don't see why you couldn't connect 4 runs...you can contact Litcessoyr at this link and they will answer all your questions https://litcessory.com/contact-us/

Question 4

If I cut the strip that came in the starter box, can I attach one of these to the detached strip to power it?

Accepted Answer

Great question! You will need to use one of our Cut-End Snap Connectors. We have several to choose from to meet your needs.
