So I purchased from Amazon and returned two of them with a neck massager. Both good neck massagers but the actual massage was not deep enough as the homedics one. I did like the airbags on the other two. But I want a massage and this was the best one. The only problem is as I'm 5'5 the neck massage was a little too high.

Used only twice! unlike the first one bought about ten years ago, this is so painful! bruised my back both times, It cannot be used and too late to send it back. I definitely would not recommend this product at all.I am not sure what Homedics have done since it's MK1 version which eventually died but this is absolutely brutal and ended up in more pain than before I started using it with bruising all over my back.I would like to hear from them and possible exchange it for the 1st version or refund as this is torture!

The strap is too short to fit around my office chair. Despite paying more money for this equip the first model that I returned had more functions. This expense model can only do massages. Bit disappointed. Otherwise, very happy with its performance

It slipped over my desk chair very easily, although I did find that the base was quite a bit longer than my chair, so it did over-hang a little.It is comfy to sit on, but when the massage balls are not in motion, they can press in over time.There’s a long cable for the plug, so no worries about losing movement if this is used on a swivel chair.Setting wise, the base has 3 vibration levels – but I didn’t really use these. You can choose between upper, lower or full massage, and there is also an option add heat to the massage. I confess I didn’t notice anything with the heat setting. Massage wise, it was good! With quite a few ‘oooh’ moments as it hit some tense muscles I had from DIYing. Downsides – I’m quite bony, and you do get quite a jolt if one of the massage balls hits a less padded body part.Overall, as a massager its good quality, the massage is worthwhile!

This unit gives a strong upper and lower back massage, it runs on mains power with supplied adaptor, it has a nice connected controller that’s easy to use with multiple settings for upper or lower back with heat and vibration settings, it’s well made and works very well, it’s makes just a low humming sound when working, very pleased with it and would highly recommend it.

This item was defective. Straight out of the box, the heat function did not work. Now I have to lug a huge box to a return point and wait to get my money back for 7-10 days after the vendor receives the item back.

You would imagine that you get a really index instruction manual, but this is just like a photocopy piece of paper is comprehensive and it is easy to follow, but it does give me a sense That it’s just a gimmick itemHowever, really impressed with the power lead on the right side for me as all my power points are on the right of my desk very easy to fit into my office chair very easy to connect the control panel to the power supply and very easy to get goingI do like the massage controls. Can you do get a choice of 33 modes for your back full upper and lower and then you get three modes for the seat low medium and high and then at the bottom you also get heat I have found it, it’s quite intense and deep rolling of the massage balls, which you can clearly see and I have to say I do like the feeling nice and deep doesn’t quite go high enough on my back, but that could be the chair that I’m using so I’m going to try a different normal chair rather than a office chairOverall, quite pleased to let down with the instruction manual, but this is a good homemassaging seat very useful. Very pleased.

I was a little sceptical of the product at first as ive had a couple of hand held devices as i have a bad lower back and they havent been very powerful. This massager is a proper beast however, it pushes itself deep into the lower back, its actually a bit concerning at first as its so powerful.The massage balls are motorised and ride up and down the back plate in a zig zag motion , at no point do the start to run out of power due to the pressure against them, they just keep on trucking.Its imporatnat however to set the unit up on teh correct chair as if teh seat is too small teh motion from the balls when the reach at the bottom stroke will tend to push you forward and off the seat if your perched too far forward. Equally you have to be able to lean back and relax to allow your body weight to push into the back when they ride back up.If your leaning forward they wont really be able to push into your back and do much.The heated plate is so so and to be fair i couldnt really feel it. The vibration pad on the bottom is o.k but didnt do much for me , perhaps if i had an upper leg muscular injury it would be more use.Its a really well made unit with a great remote , a great product if you have a bad back.
