For notes, lists, names, whatvr this is an excellent pocket notebook and the price was acceptable too.

High value for money strongly recommend

This is basically a black book that has a vinyl on the cover that flakes off immediately. Not very good.

Notebook arrived damaged with three marks on notebook and a chunk of the cover taken off.

The quality of the notebook was not what I was expecting the spine is badly cracked on the back.

Moleskine is supposed to have a good reputation, yet this notebook is anything but that. I bought one wrapped in plastic, so I couldn't judge upon quite expensive purchase. (Black, 9x14 cm, 192 pages, ruled notebook). When I started writing in it with a normal thin-nibbed fountain pen, the blue ink came through very strongly on the other side of every page, making it impossible to write on both sides of the paper. One just gets a seeping mess on the back of every page. It is hard to imagine such low quality paper - real junk, the cheapest thin rubbish imaginable. I wish I'd never bought it, as it is useless for my purposes. I'd guess that this is true therefore for other such Moleskine notebooks. You can certainly obtain much better quality paper notebooks from other manufacturers, using decent paper. So I'd strongly recommend that you skip this product, at least until Moleskine learn to produce notebooks with paper that can take a fountain pen. This is very poor quality indeed and an over-priced waste of money. Furthermore, the front soft cover is also low quality and flimsy. The notebook comes with an extensive boastful leaflet entitled "Moleskine. The history of a legend". Well, if this is a "legend", heaven help us. "Classic Collection" indeed! My new one is now going straight into the rubbish bin.

Purchased this Moleskine for my daughter - she loves it. Great quality and handy to have.It makes a good gift for anyone.

J’utilise des Moleskine depuis des années, ce sont vraiment les carnets préférés et j’aime beaucoup le papier. Mais quand j’ai commencé à écrire dans l’exemplaire reçu après avoir commandé sur Amazon, j’ai complètement déchanté. L’encre bave complètement, c’est une horreur. Pour un carnet à 24,50€, c’est une honte.

This is a high quality notebook for an affordable price. I have been using this brand for many years and the paper is not looses it's brightest.
