Interpet Ammonia Remover and Bioactive Tapsafe Bundle

I used this for a couple of years and it works. I then tried another well known brand and it didn't work so I went back to interpet and within 2 doses the amonia was down to acceptable levels. Great if you have an ammonia spike and you need to reduce it asap. I have got danios, platies, amano shrimp and a nerite snail and it doesn't affect them in a negative way. Shrimps are very sensitive to bad water and they start flying around the tank or even worse huddling together. Add the interpet ammonia remover and within minutes they go back to their usual behaviour. I use the amonia remover and do a water change if needed to get rid of the nitrite and nitrate that the ammonia gets converted to. Will always have the interpet version on hand from now on for those weird ammonia spikes

After cycling a new aquarium and having difficulty with very high ammonia even after water changes, I was dubious as to whether the answer would come in a bottle. Suffice to say I am very impressed with this stuff. Literally just a capful in the tank and the ammonia level was reduced to almost zero according to two water tests.The real proof was seeing how my Betta fish coped in his new tank. After previously seeing how Betta's languished in a high ammonia environment, I can confirm he was immediately happy in the water, and has remained so. Good stuff.

It saved my 3 year old goldfish, the fish was getting black tail and it was quite sad. I moved him from his tank 3 times after exhausting every possibility, from changing water and removing ornaments, to moving him from his tank to a smaller one and eventually a fishbowl. By then I was just ready to let him go. I was adding all sorts of stuff for the stress and essential salt and who knows what else.After doing some research I came across this product.I read the reviews and some were not that promising, however I had nothing to loose, poor fishy was already done with me.... or so I thought!I cleaned his tank, no ornaments and just one filter, I put the usual cocktail of fishy goodness plus the ammonia killer and 3 days after the treatment, fishy was swimming and eating happily!It has been months and he is healthy and his tail is brilliant orange again!

This was a lot cheaper than on the high street but I would advise you to also buy a filter active treatment because this will remove ammonia but not necessarily solve your problem for good.Ammonia is partly caused by a bacterial imbalance. Therefore, I used a filter active treatment that has "good" bacteria to promote a healthier acquariurm eco-system.

My Aquarium water ammonia level spiked. Added this product, no change. So I've just resorted to water changes every week, keep sand clean, less food given.. Now its back to normal.. Don't waste your money

Doesn’t seem to make a difference. My levels were low but not dangerous but since adding this one of my fish has become quite sick and is in a separate tank. He seems better and happier out if this water but still quite sick. Did a water change In the main and the shrimps reappeared. The only new thing was this so can’t see what else caused these issues

I bought this as an emergency, I don't normally use chemicals in my tank, water changes and cleaning would always sort things but I couldn't get the ammonia spike down and my fish were lethargic. This worked within half an hour and my fish are all well and back to normal. Highly recommend!

Very pleased worked well for my 84L tank whilst cycling the tank with fish. As this was my first time and read up on lots of info and used bio balls in filter etc small water changes to build up bio material but you do get too much immonia build up in the begining and did try for 3 weeks to control it but this helped immensely! Will always keep a bottle of this in fish cupboard from now on. No fish were harmed before or after the cycling so very happy.Next time def cycling without fish !
