Play Safe Pet avy Duty Porch/Deck Guard

We have a porch that is on the second floor and wanted something to keep my year old cats from falling off. I searched and found this product. We have not installed it yet but I wanted to mention a couple of things for those of you considering this product. First, it arrived quickly and was packaged well in a box that would be suitable for storing any leftover remnants. Secondly, and most importantly this is a rigid product. I was expecting something more like a thick netting but this is much more substantial. For example, the roll will totally stand up on its own. I can see where you would have some sharp edges if you cut it. We plan on installing this on an outside deck but have opted to have this particular porch screened in. Even though we changed our mind on the porch after seeing the product and the quality we decided to keep it to use in other areas that our cats do not have access to now due to the danger. This product does come with some very long thick zip ties but my husband is going to install it with stainless staples instead to make it more secure. Will update once installed.

This is just want i wanted! The zip-ties that are included secured the guard on my balcony rails. Additionally, i used a staple gun to hold down a few spots that were bubbled out just a bit. I am very pleased with the durability and thickness of the plastic. The guard is white but gives me enough visibility where i don't feel closed off from the world. I've had it up for months and very pleased!

After months of keeping my puppy on a leash on my balcony, at last i found something to keep her from falling off.This is really great and very strong. It covers the right amount so now my puppy can go out on the balcony alone if she wants to.I am on the top floor of an apartment building so if she fell would be a disaster. This is something she cannot chew she has tried many times but it is very very strong.

Had to purchase this with a new toddler hitting the scene and owning one of those old style unsafe porches. funny thing is the toddler never ventured near any of the huge gaps before installing this. after I installed this using wire ties she loves shoving her head in it to look over the edge. easy to cut and perfect height for my porch

It works great though I didn't use it for my pets. I cut it up and used it to keep my 1 year old from climbing through the side rails of our staircase. I also used it to cover the vent holes of my air conditioner to keep him from stuffing things into it.

the product is perfect for protect your "love ones" from any type of accidents. it is especially useful in balcony protection.

Easy to use. Dog thinks it's a solid wall and hasn't tried to chew through it.

way too thick - you can't even see through it on the deck. This was my fault for ordering the product. I was thinking it was a light wire, This product is more like the plastic you put underneath a desk for your desk chair. I purchased for an animal to keep from falling off the deck. It did not work for that purpose. Perhaps this would be good for a child, but not an animal since they can't even see through it.
