Have had these glasses just over a month, so therefore not able to return them. The magnet kept coming out of its housing, not what you would expect from a new item.. The Clic a few years ago was of better quality.

My use of readers of on-off-on-off all the time. I needed something that would be with me all the time, quickly available when needed, and completely out of the way when not needed. These work really well for that sort of active, moving around style. Your hands stay free and the glasses are always right under your chin, a click away. But they are not general purpose glasses. You can't have these on and lean your head back on anything. That means if you have use a headrest or read in bed, these won't work for that. I even find them aggravating when I lean back on the couch and switch to more conventional glasses. I think these are great and work better than tying glasses to my neck. Quality is great. I have 1.5 and 1.75 power version and both are clear and well constructed. I've even snagged them and they pulled violently from my head. They departed me without hurting me and they were undamaged. Now I watch for low hanging branches more closely.

These glasses have both positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, when I do not want to actively use them to read, I can simply open them up, pivot the lenses so they are in-line with the arms of the glasses, and let them dangle from the back loop of the glasses arms and hang on my chest. They stay put very well when I'm wearing them. The glass quality is high, and I can see very clearly through them. My lady wears them sometimes and enjoys them as well. On the negative side, when you take them off they take up a huge amount of real estate because the loop that goes around back is not very flexible. I cannot simply lay these on my night stand, but instead have had to find a new place to put them overnight because of their size. One other small complaint is that when you lean your head back in your La-Z-Boy recliner to read a book in comfort, the loop at the back of the glasses pushes the lens area forward. Overall, I like them and will continue to use them. In time, I may even buy another pair.

My husband only wears glasses for reading, and at work he must be able to read figures and do lots of math. We had to buy him glasses almost once a month due to scratching from leaving them on desks, in pockets, on the visor of the car, etc. Or he just "left" them somewhere. One day I saw a friend who was wearing these glasses around his neck. I immediately purchased a pair on-line. Wow. My husband still has his first pair, and I just received his second pair (different color) in the mail a month ago. No scratches, always within reach, and he gets a kick out of showing them off to so many curious people. It was a five star purchase, and I want to thank whoever it was who made these durable, good-looking glasses!! Carol G.
