Have used these two seasons for top-rope anchors (2x per week for 5-6 months). No sign of wear. Solid and no problems. A little heavy, but worth it. A word of advice, remember to spin the lock until it touches then back it off before use to allow for thermal expansion.

I was very pleasently surprised when I received these. They are heavy-duty. I have my TRX suspension trainer hooked on to this and I trust it completely.

Works well for tree climbing. Just make sure you bring a multi tool with you as the screwgate can get a little stuck on occasion.

It's true I love these carabiners. I have 8 and need more. As do you. Excellent home gym equipment. Safety first above all. I never worry about these failing. I have many other smaller carabiners that I do worry about.

Using these carabiners for resistance bands in our home gym (not climbing). They appear to be well made and work well.

These are steel. They are heavy, like three or four times as heavy as an Aluminum counterpart so you definitely aren't hauling a bag of these up a rock face. They will rust if left in the elements or not dried. I use these for around the yard utility applications.

I know there is a wide range of experience and skill when it comes to climbing so I can’t speak to any one perspective other than my own. It’s been many years since I’ve gone rappelling and even when I did, it was very moderate risk stuff. It’s not like I was messing around on Denali or anything. I wanted to get back into some light climbing and rappelling again, likely starting out on a rock wall. I thought I would start assembling some gear again. I really like these carabiners. They feel very solid and secure. These seem bigger than ones I’ve used in the past but I don’t think that really matters. I can’t attest to the weight rating but I could see these things lowering a pallet down from a Chinook. They are certainly going to hold me even with a slight fall. The machining seems to be done well. They slide nicely against my rope and I don’t see any points that might be abrasive or cut into the rope over time. If there are, I will find out the hard way. These things are heavy. Not an issue for me since I will most likely only carry a couple of these but if you’ve got a lot of gear and weight is a priority, these things are about 6.25 ounces each. Consider your particular skill level and the type of work you will use these for and set your expectations accordingly. There are better, and more expensive, carabiners out there for more serious climbers.

These seem very strong and for all my kit clipping on , holding things together and Dog securing jobs they exceed my expectations. I don't climb so I can't comment on their suitability for that. I would certainly use them to secure tools etc to belts and bags while aloft on Scaffolding or Ladders.

I bought the EMEKIAN Locking Carabiner Clips for setting up a hoist system in my loft, and they’ve worked excellently for that purpose. The relatively wide opening gate makes them convenient for connecting ropes and other attachments, and they feel very sturdy and well-built. However, I wouldn’t recommend these for climbing or other safety-critical uses. They’re smaller than proper climbing screwgates, so for climbing, I’d definitely suggest going with a climbing-specific brand. But for general applications like camping, hammocks, hoist systems, and more—they’re perfect!
