Not required, but made life slightly easier.

easy all in one tool. Time and finger saver
Tried one on a job site and had to have one for my self. Previously we would use and punch and a hammer, and most of the time sacrifice a couple of the pins trying to drive them in. No we pre-load it in the holder and a couple of smacks later we are done.
