Great sounding DAC. After my initial impressions, this DAC has really shown itself to be a very good buy, and especially for what I paid for it new. I've compared it to much more expensive DACs and there is very little difference in sound. But I am really enjoying extended listening with it. I'm not sure how much the tube is doing but, it's not overly warm, lush or harmonic as far as I can hear, but it's a joy to listen to with good music.I was a bit sceptical as well buying the cheaper variant which is bluetooth only, it seems the other model uses a different DAC chip. But after comparing with a higher end DAC and extended listening, even though I thought I'll keep asking myself whats the other like, I don't care, I'm really enjoying this one. So it's a keeper.Another thing is I bought the BD version and for your information it cannot be switched from op amp operation to tube. These cheaper units are permanently tube only. Anue have said they did this for simplicity and pureness of this lower cost unit, yet there are still 7 filters you can switch between :)

This small DAC tube amp is very well designed and made, the display is cleverly hidden in the front panel, and the volume display is relatively large. I use it now to connect to computer USB or connect to Bluetooth to listen to music.When using Tube mode, the sound is warm and moist, the sound field is wide, the mid-frequency density is high, the high-frequency has a certain gorgeousness, and the low-frequency volume is sufficient, which can provide enough atmosphere. More sound details in OPA mode. 7 filter modes plus two sound modes (TUBE\OPA), a total of 14 combinations to meet various needs.This is a very compact, it doesn't take up any space on the table, and it is a very good desktop portable DAC tube amp. It’s very good for music lovers.It is important to remind that the temperature of the electronic tube is very high when it is working. Do not touch it with your hands to avoid burning your hands. It sounds much better then the auris pro I previously was using.But to me by passing the tube mode sounds better then running it thru the tube.It's main reason I bought it for a tube sound.Maybe I don't like tube sound or something else is wrong with it.I personally wouldn't buy one thinking your gonna get some warm tube sound from it.It's almost dull running thru the tube mode.

This is a nice amp, aesthetically it’s one of the best looking out there. The sound quality is good but there are other amps at this price point that deliver more or better. The sound modes don’t really do much and that you can’t easily replace the tube is my biggest gripe. For a tube amp the performance is just not there compared to the other choices again. Bluetooth is also just too expensive.

Audio coming from the amplifier sounded way better than without it. One of my best purchases and would definitely recommend to avid music listeners.
