Excellent replacement for the worn out originals

These are rubberised tips for the Leki brand of aluminium walking poles.The pole tip is a blunted spike for walking on soft ground so if you’re walking on roads or hard tracks, you’ll need these. They fit well, are grippy and tight yet easy to pull on and off when needed. The rubber material seems well engineered and has lasted two years now without wearing out.

Excellent grip

When I bought these for my Black Diamond Distance Z hiking poles, I did it based on the spec that they were made of vulcanised rubber, like car tyres. I had to use electricians tape to make the tips of the poles a little thicker, so that they stay put, but they lasted two years so far and never fell out.Now, the main point. How long do they last? I used them sporadically for day treks, with very little load, for over a year. No big feat there. However, I am now past 800 Km, using them every single step, with a 12-Kg back pack. Finally, this morning I heard a metallic noise when hitting cement. Upon inspection I can see that they are finally getting to the end of their useful life.I am truly impressed. Considering total body plus backpack weight of 100 Kg, and using them for every single step, and not just for keeping pace, but really leaning on them, they lasted well over 800 Km, I am more than satisfied with this item.I can see negative reviews that I suspect were sold fake product from doggy sellers. I suggest that if you find a reputable seller or simply buy from a sports shop of you can find them.

Exactly what I needed for my Leki travel poles. Promptly delivered. Will have good lifetime because they are Leki. Don't be tempted by cheap alternatives which last 5 minutes (or less).

This product is just perfect.

Ordered a pack of these, as was described, and written, as ‘two-pack’ by which most reasonable people would imagine meant 2 items in the pack.. Sadly package came as an individual.. so ordered another, thinking might be a mistake, but same again.. so essentially very expensive for what they are. Beware.
