The pills in my current bottle of this has a very strong citrus smell. Previous bottles did not have this smell. Can someone explain this?

I just spoke to Metagenics customer service about this, because I experienced it today. They began putting a “scent canister” (mine was orange) in the Vit D and fish oils. It’s not supposed to affect the taste of the pill, but I think it does. They say if you take the canister out of the bottle the smell will dissipate. Kinda odd, I mean, fish oil I sort of understand, but Vit D doesn’t smell like anything.

What is the soluble oil? Is it vit E? If so, what kind and what are the other ingredients? Thank you.

My label reads "Highly refined soybean oil".

As soon as I opened the bottle I was struck by a strong floral scent. It honestly smells like a bottle of shampoo. Is that normal?
