They may not be good for basements.
I purchased 4 of these for the basement. They were great the first 2 weeks, aftersuch I think the humidity must affect the functionality of the bulbs. Sometimes they work, sometimes I have to remove them from the socket and put them in again.Not sure I would purchase again for humid areas.

It works, but could be improved
Just screw it in. It works. Installed in my garage to light when using walk-in door. It seems to sence when you're approaching the door as it is instantly on. Only 2 objectiondIt goes off too fast.It does not reset quickly enough. Once it's off, it stays off for an undermind period before it will sense motion again.

Continuous flickering. Do not recommend.
The light bulb started flickering after several months of light use. The seller sent a replacement promptly. One year later, the replacement bulb starts flickering too. Contacted the seller but have not heard back yet.
