As I Am Curl Color - Flamingo Pink - 6 oz - Temporary Color Gel - Vegan & Cruelty Free

Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for this shade of pink. The application is wet and I would recommend wearing gloves. I used a little over half for my entire hair. It also has a very nice smell.

I've been wanting money piece bangs for a long time but I have micro braids that I'm trying to turn into locs so I can't really bleach and dye my hair. I love this As I Am Curl Color temporary hair dye. I got the Flamingo Pink color. It's super easy to use, I just put on disposable gloves to apply. It glides easily. I've gotten it on my face and scalp and skin and it always wipes off easily with water. It smells really good like a mild sweet fruity scent. It covers grays with no problem. It takes about an hour for it to dry down, I don't experience much if any transferring after it dries. It does kinda change the hair texture a little bit cus it's a tad drying and clumping but nothing that was concerning on my braids. It stays put for a long time if you don't wash it out, I've gone 3 days and could have gone longer if I didn't wash it out. It rinses out super easy, I only had a few areas where the color was trapped between my braids after a rinse but it's easy to see and fix. Really fun to play around with, I've put it on my boyfriend who has red hair, our dog, and my armpit hairs for a summer festival, only used about a third of the product so far. Lots of fun just wish they had more colors.

I lost my hair to chemo, and it's finally grown back a little. I wanted to do something fun and edgy with my hair, but am not allowed to use semi- or permanent color until it's grown in at least an inch. Now that I am having more chemo, but on a med that won't make me lose my hair, I wanted to try a color. An out-there color. I got the Cool Blue from another source. When I washed it out, it left a green stain in my salt-and-pepper hair. Eventually, maybe a week later, it came out. Then I tried the Minty Mermaid, as it's the color of Ovarian Cancer Awareness. When I use it, it doesn't stain my hair. One problem I have with it is that both colors will stain everything, hands included, if you don't wear gloves. The other thing is that it will (especially the Blue) rub off on virtually everything you come into contact with. I wear a bonnet to sleep in so it doesn't ruin my bedding. It leaves my hair feeling really stiff. The colors this comes in are awesome, and I have gotten compliments on my hair when I use this product. But, I don't feel I would recommend it.

I found that this temporary color was easier to see when hair was completely dry. On dark hair (as expected), if you do not layer it on heavily the color comes out as a very dark teal. Afterwards, touching the dried hair can cause flakes to fall but I found that they didn't stain any of my clothing, bedspread, head coverings/bonnets or even the counters of my bathroom sink. I won't use it for consistent color, but for the outings that it would fit best. Overall a fine product; smell is faint, a creamy consistency and doesn't stain.

The product is thin. It's not thick or waxy. When I put it on my hair, it was kind of runny. Doesn't cover very well. The color was not as vibrant as I hoped on top of my dark hair. I've tried other temp colors from a jar and this product was really thin compared to the others. I thought because it was an "as I am" curl product, it would provide extra hold for my curls, but it didn't. I used it a few times and ended up giving away the rest of the jar.

Great for touch up highlights

Not as opaque as I was hoping for. We used it for a squirtle costume and it was very hard to work with and very tacky. Even on my blonde kid it had a hard time showing color.

Love it. Just the right amount of suttle pink hue that I wanted added to my curls. Creamy and Washed off my hands easily
