Anyone gets it to work? I got 2 of them but it's not recognized from my computer. I tested 5 different computers including desktop.

It may not work properly with any version of Ableton below 10. I'm not sure if that's the problem but I heard it online that it might not function with older versions of Live.

Can this midi pad controller work with GarageBand on Mac ?

I think it could work with Garage Band but you wouldn't get the full functionality. Since it was designed to work with Ableton it has a specific "language" that makes the LEDs color correspond to the clip colors on Abletons session view. It's full potential is in being a controller to trigger clips in session view so in my opinion it would be a waste for any other DAW and you would be better off with a midi controller that's designed for a more diverse set of conditions instead of the APC mini which is so specific to Ableton session view. It's a one trick pony but it does its one trick pretty well.
