Outstanding color -- looks fishy!
Received the jig today. I'll be using this for lingcod fishing, down to 120 feet, when the season opens again, so the 5-oz weight is perfect for our average currents. The color is a good simulation of herring and sandlance. The hooks are maybe 5/0 or 6/0, sharp, and are firmly attached to the split ring and the eye on the jig. It looks fishy! If it puts fish in the boat I'll also purchase more. Excited to give it a try.

Very nice jig, but will take some practice to master
The headline for my review pretty much sums it up. This is a high quality jig and I really like the design and the hooks it uses. Many jigs I've seen use treble hooks, which I hate. This jig uses larger standard hooks that are tied to some rope. I really like that they used heat shrink over the eye of the hook. I've never seen that before but it will become the new standard for me!In terms of performance, I can say that I definitely felt bites with this. I'm not a jigging expert by any mean, and I'm actually new to this. I got the 5oz jig and it's quite a workout to use, but it gets bites. I didn't actually catch anything, which is why I gave this four stars instead of five. You can bet that once I do catch something, I will be updating this review and giving it five stars. All in all, I like this jig and I will definitely continue testing it out. I think that it has a lot of potential but I can't guarantee that it will catch fish. If you are willing to take a chance on it, then I can recommend this!

Unique shape and very sharp forged hooks
Jig has strong connections and unique design. Action is different than most other jigs to help mix up presentations. Jig is marked with weight for organization in the tackle box. Hooks are sharp and properly sized.

High quality jig for reef fishing
Using this jig to primarily fish on reefs off the NC coast, in about 80 ft of water. Fishing for grouper, amberjack, and snapper primarily. The 2.6oz weight is perfect for this depth of water in our area. Very impressed with the quality of this jig. Very well balanced when used as a slow pitch jig, it falls with a nice swing with great action. Can also be used for a faster jigging retrieve if the fish are higher in the water column. The paint on these is great, lots of flash, 3D eyes. The 2 hooks seem of good quality, will see how long they stand up to salt, but I usually wash down my stuff with freshwater after every use. The hooks are secured by kevlar cords, which is standard for these types of jigs. Very happy to add this to my arsenal of jigs, I'll definately add more of these to my box.

When the fish are deep, it is time to break out jigs like this!
Fishermen who target pelagic fish or reef dwellers will need an assortment of jigs for when fish refuse to feed near the surface. This jig is a quality product. The finish and colors are ideal. I love the 3D eyes and the finishes with a glow. The action of this jig is erratic that imitates a squid (or baitfish) trying to escape. The glow features are great when fishing deep in low light depths. I prefer the heavier models to combat depths and current however there is a place for the lighter/smaller models when inshore. The hooks are sharp and have the standard braided cord nose attachment. This is fine for most non toothed fish but can be easily replaced with wire when targeting the aggressive toothy species. Most fisherman cannot have enough jigs in this style as you do loose them from time to time in battle so buy an assortment of colors and weights to cover all your basis. You will not go wrong with this style jig.Highly recommend.

Flat-fall jig for salt water fishing
I recently moved to Florida where the fishing is plentiful. I obtained this jig for "deep water" fishing. It is a center balanced jig that falls with a wobbling action. This 100 gram jig appears to be well made, but I haven't given it a try in the Gulf just yet.

75g Phantom Squid jig
Nice jig. Has 3D holographic eyes, good color, and hard epoxy finish. Show different color from every angle that will surely catch fish's eye. Two good sharp hooks on the front side tied well. Got this 75g Phantom Squid jig to fish for whatever lurks deep under the lake dams, mainly catfish. Can't wait to try it.

Impressed!!
This bait looks awesome. It has the prism painting with lots of detail. I am using the 100g model. The bait has a large realistic set of eyes. The hooks have been shrink wrapped. I just waiting for some better weather to see how it works on snapper. The color is blue mackerel and they did a great job with the details
