Not worth upgrading from lvs 32!
I bought the lvs 32 and lvs 34 if. I couldn't see any difference at all on my echomap uhd 93 sv.You have to drill a 7 inch hole and it won't fit my 6 inch holes. I have an 8 inch auger that I have to use now. For that reason alone, it's more of a downgrade. Fish can now easily turn around in the hole and get away and you need to have a strong drill if you use one to make 8 inch ice holes.The soft cable is nicer is all I can say is better for ice fishing. Feels like a silicone casing.Either transducer only sees about 80 feet forward before the details wash out and the bottom is lost. It's claimed by garmin to see up to 200 feet somehow.If you own the lvs 32 save your money for something else.
