Violinsmart 3/4 size violin bow

I had to trim off lots of loose strands on the bow strings but did not affect the sound. I needed to spend a lot of time with the rosin stick but that's not unusual for a new bow. Sounds fine for a kid's practice violin.

I was a little skeptical when it came to getting a new bow. I didn't want to pay A LOT of money because I'm mostly working but I needed a bow. When I saw how low the price was, I thought it was too good to be true. It has plenty of hair and it completely tightened. It's a little lighter than in the picture, but still a beautiful color. It's a little longer than my old bow but not long enough to be a full size. You'll need good rosin, (I don't remember putting a lot on the first time I played but it seemed like I need a ton for this bow) but over all it's a great buy.

Definitely not high quality, but as I got this for a student who frequently drops her bow, that was just fine! Perfect for younger students, especially those who aren't very coordinated yet. :)

Super bow. Shipped fast and well packaged. Works great. I was skeptical due to a few poor posts... but am now convinced that they perhaps don't know how to rosin properly (or at all). Buy the bow, tighten it up, rosin it well... and play a little tune on your Stradivarius. ;-)

Purchased for an excelling student using a family violin close to 100 yrs old. The original bow is worth more than the instrument so this is a nice student bow and for that it is a great quality!

Got this delivered and decided to return the very instant we saw it. Some hairs were loose/snapped (which we were ok with too). But also noticed the hair thickness not consistent across (thicker at same place). Felt build quality too poor (you get what you pay for I guess). Paid little more and very happy with replacement (different brand). Tried contacting seller but no response. Amazon was helpful as ever with returns.

I wasn't expect too much for a bow less than $10. When I received it, it looks like a low Cost bow. I know how much did I pay for it. But, today, my daughter using it to practice, and it sounds great. If I don't know the price, I will pay $70-$100 for it.
