Bought this because I needed a wallet to hold more than 6 cards which is what my older wallet held. It holds 8 which is perfect for me. The rubber in the wallet to cause the friction so the cards will not fall out is larger causing the wallet to be wider than my other wallet. It is also tighter to push out the cards which I think may cause the mechanism to break eventually. Also wish it came with a elastic strap to hold some bills.

I first heard about the this wallet from a friend who recently had their cards compromised. I thought to myself, "hey, I usually do go out a lot and I wouldn't be surprised if I had my cards scanned without my knowledge." So, I made the decision to purchase the blue one first. And I fell in love with it so quickly. Not only do I feel safer, but also it looks aesthetically cooler than my previous wallet. It's so cool I had to go buy two more in different colors. It alleviated a lot of space in my pocket that it feels like I have nothing in there. I managed to put a total of five cards and I have no trouble taking them out. This is very minimalistic and it gets the job done. This is as simple as simple gets.

I bought and tried a few of these pop up wallets and have been using a cheap $9 one. There really isn’t a difference in quality and for my use where I only use about three cards, the cheaper one works better at lifting and spreading the cards out. This one lifts up okay but doesn’t spread the cards out well. Maybe with more cards it’ll work but if you use less cards, it won’t fan the cards out properly. The bottom trigger makes it a bit bigger as well whereas the cheaper one I use has the side trigger and is a bit more compact. All in all it’s alright but not worth the price.

I got delivery of this holder today. I chose it was because the details clearly stated it takes 8 slim cards which mine are. My 10+ yr old holder held all 8 without a problem until the mechanism broke. On arrival this one actually only holds six. I don't want one in a cover when I've had just a plain metal one for so long that did a perfect job. Why don't manufacturers make ones that take more cards as most people have more than six when shop loyalty cards are included. I've already looked again on Amazon.ie and once refund is sorted I will order one of two that offer the option of 8 cards and have more depth (Vulkit 10.9x7x1.3cm or the double case 9.9×6.3×1.6cm). I might even order both and decide on delivery which works best. Once I do I'll leave a review on both.
