I am perimenopausal and was having aggressive, intense, severe hot flashes about every 35 minutes...day and night! I felt terrible and oftentimes felt I was going to pass out from them combined with the major heart palpitations. I was extremely sleep deprived and was at my wit's end. It got so bad that I lay wide awake in bed at night nearly in tears because I felt so hopeless because nothing was working. I read through all of the positive reviews and ordered a bottle thinking I had nothing to lose, I was desperate. It arrived a day early and I took my first recommended dose that evening. Thereafter, I took it in the morning and again in the evening with dinner. (I dropped it directly under the tongue). At first I thought it tasted like a sweet celery juice, but now I only taste sweetness. My taste buds must have adjusted to it, I actually like the taste. This is how Balanced Femme worked in me: the first week of using my hot flashes were still intense, but were occurring every hour instead of every half hour. The second week they were still every hour but were much milder and more tolerable and I was no longer sweaty and clammy and my heart palpitations that came with the hot flashes were ceasing. By the 3 and 1/2 week mark the hot flashes were pretty much non existent and I noticed I was not using my desk fan at work nor my portable fan around the house! On the 27th day of using, something amazing happened....I got my period (which was 67 days late!) My periods have been irregular for the past 2 years, so I'm hoping this will keep them on track. I am amazed that it really works and I feel normal again! I truly cannot recall when I had my last hot flash, if I have one now I barely feel it and I have to wonder if that's what it actually is! In addition, I am finally getting some much needed sleep and I am no longer falling asleep at my desk at work due to sleep deprivation. I have given a total of 12 reviews in the 19 years I've been an Amazon customer, and only 4 of those were 5 star reviews, and none of them more than 4 or 5 sentences. I mentioned those things to add emphasis to this review, so you can have an idea of just how wonderful this product is for me to review it at all, and certainly for me to give it a 5 star review and multiple sentences. These drops are AMAZING. My hot flashes were controlling me life. I couldn't think, sleep, or interact with people. A flash could take me from Mary Poppins to BroomHilda in 3 seconds flat. I'm surprised my husband is still with me, and I only started having hot flashes about a month prior to discovering these drops. I was absolutely miserable most of the time. I had decided to visit my doctor to have something prescribed because I knew I could not continue TRYING to live like that. It would feel like someone reached inside me and turned on a furnace...no warning. I would suddenly feel intense heat and break into a sweat. This would occur multiple times a day. Prior to hot flashes, I never awoke from sleep at night, not even to use the bathroom. After hot flashes, sleeping through the night wasn’t even a thought. I would awaken multiple times feeling like the house must be on fire for me to be so hot. Every time, my clothes were wet from sweat. It was miserable. I got a cold from the constant heat ups and cool downs my body was experiencing, coupled with the fact I now slept with the ceiling fan on, which was unheard of pre-flashes. I have always been cold natured...electric blankets all over the house, space heaters everywhere, always slept under cover, kept a jacket or sweater in the car for restaurants, etc., never wanted air blowing on me. (I live in the south, and even on days the temperature got above 90 and I had air on in the car, I would turn the vents away from me and sometimes crack the windows because I just didn’t like direct air.) That ALL changed without warning. I often heard other women talk about hot flashes, but I had no idea what they were dealing with. I sincerely apologize to every woman I laughed at or teased about their flashes. I should have been stoned. Hot flashes are the most miserable feeling EVER! Before asking the doctor for medication, I figured I would do my Amazon research (it's what I do when looking for solutions or problem solvers). I located several products, checked the ingredients, and read the reviews. I liked that this product was herbal and the reviews were extremely positive. I decided to try it, with a bit of skepticism though. I had hopes that it worked well, but I just couldn't believe it was as good as the reviews stated. OMG!!!!!! It is better! I could tell a difference immediately. After the first day of use, when I would feel a hot flash it wasn't as intense and didn't last as long. It felt as though someone or something was calming the flash as it was occurring...kinda like someone deescalating a heated confrontation between two people. It was like I could feel the flash being talked to...OK, just calm down...take it easy...be cool. It has been 2 weeks and I don't have hot real hot flashes anymore. Maybe every other day I get a heat up episode, but it's really quick and it dissipates as quickly as it starts...like someone immediately throwing water on a flame as soon as it flares up. I have put these drops in my subscriptions. I’ll run out of food and water before I allow myself to run out of these drops.

Going on 8 days, great stuff so far!! Will continue to update. I'm 31 & suffer with PCOS/hormone imbalance. I'm overweight, have cystic acne on my chin, and just overall hormone craziness. A couple years back I had a full face breakout and after a lot of trial and error I found a few herbs that helped a ton. For 2 yrs I took Vitex (nature's way) and DIM Detox (pure encapsulations) every day, but then the DIM was discontinued. :( I replaced it with Estro-sense, another hormone balancing herb blend - tried it for a month and I could tell it wasn't holding a candle to my old setup: I had 1-2 breakouts through the entire month and I was emotional/irritable with sore boobs, not to mention I could hardly stand the smell/taste.. Then I found BalancedFemme and though it seems more geared toward hot flashes, I figured I would give it a shot for my issues. 8 days in. I dont feel like a new person or anything crazy, but my breakouts have cleared, husband says I haven't been snoring as much (not sure if that's related?), and I feel like I'm getting back to where I want to be. No ill effects so far. Something I learned a few years ago is that liver detox is also key for hormone balance. If your liver isn't detoxing efficiently, then the excess toxins/androgens are just going to be recirculated into your blood instead of flushed out. So I ordered the Rejuvica brand VitaLiver drops along with the BalancedFemme drops. Otherwise for liver support I just take milk thistle capsules, but I like the idea of switching my supplements over to the drops if they work. So far my preferred method to take them is 2 dropper-fulls of each (Femme + VitaLiver), add to a shot glass, fill it the rest of the way with water, then shoot it down. I do this before bed every night and drink a cup of water after. It's a pretty strong herb taste with the 4 droppers, so sometimes I split it into 2 shots instead.

I was willing to do ANYTHING to stop the hot flashes...they're freaking miserable. I'd been getting them round the clock...every hour, all night long, having to change clothes non-stop. I tried all the regular supplements (and still take some of them at night) but found this and figured I'd give it a go. After all, it's liquid, so maybe it's a more pure form. When I wake up, I drink a lot of water right away anyway, and then I take this. I actually hold it under my tongue for 30 seconds before swallowing. (The taste is fine.) I saw no results the first month. Part way into the second bottle, I noticed longer and longer breaks between the hot flashes. I'm on my fourth bottle now and am mostly sleeping through the night. I still get the occasional flash, but it's maybe 1 a day or only a couple a week. Not every hour on the hour. I had it BAD. I don't normally take the time to write reviews...but I felt this deserved one because it's honestly helped. I wish there was more attention paid to the side effects and symptoms we deal with when going through this. Everyone talks openly about puberty, but it's almost embarrassing to mention menopause...and there's little help. I talked to my FEMALE doctor about how miserable I was and she said nothing. I went into mp very early due to having an autoimmune, but the perception (I feel) is that you're washed up as a female. It's annoying...hence the reluctance to mention the issues. Anyway...if you're struggling, try it. But know that it takes time to kick in and you have to use it every day. Don't skip. It's really easy. Wake, use...coffee...enjoy life. :) Bonus: I feel like I have a lot more energy now, too. ***Updated 2021. Sooooo...I thought I'd take a short break from it, thinking the flashes had calmed down now or maybe passed. Holy hell. They came back with a viciousness...often, severe. I ordered another bottle immediately and in a few days, things calmed down again. Once again, this stuff really works. It won't solve them ALL, but it'll reduce them dramatically. The amount, the severity, the frequency. Another thing that's been helping is the Embr Wave bracelet, which can cool (or heat) on the spot. It's hard to type with, so I only wear it when I'm going out and can't control my own environment. Between these two things, I've been able to maintain sanity and dignity. :)

Forgive my language and typing but i hate typing on my phone. I have been dealing with night sweats and being overwhelmingly hot for over 10 years. I thought I was going into menopause and would ask them to check my hormone levels. I went from being cold all the time to needing a fan blowing on me. Truth was that something in my life had changed during that time. I was injured and started pain meds. I also gained weight. I blamed it on the weight and everyone told me that wasn't it. So then I blamed in on the meds but I still was sure that my hormones were out of whack. I began taking amberen which did help the night sweats a bit. But then about a month ago, all hell broke loose and began to get hot flashes every hour and they lasted for 3-5 minutes followed by a cold flash. I have chronic pain due to nerve damage. Then other problems followed so this EVERY HOUR?! The only thing positive was I knew when it was coming so I had to be seated in front of a fan full blast. But I was really thinking this is the thing that would push me over. The amberen was the perimenopausal one so i switched to the menopausal one. I actually had been taking the orange one and switched to the purple since I wasn't in "menopause". But when the hot flashes began I thought it was because I had switched but it didn't help.My sister had hot sweats due to medication and someone told her to take milk thistle cuz they took it for their menopausal symptoms. I started taking 400mg in the AM and PM, so 800mg/day. Night sweats gone and hot flashes began to decrease, still every hour but 2-3 minutes. I was looking at taking in addition to amberen, estroven. But there were so many different ones which didn't make sense to me. I forgot to mention I was taking separately, black cohosh , 540mg/day. I started to really do some research and I think it was WEBMD that said black cohosh was good for way less than 540mg, 20-40mg twice a day! It had taking more can cause problems so I stopped. But I was still being driven mad by hot flashes every hour. So I found something about drops. How I found it I don't remember. But I found this here. It said 3xday but I took it 4x for the first week. O M G!!! My hot flashes are down to less than 5 a day! I still take the orange amberen and the milk thistle. And my body is still having trouble regulating if it's hot or cold but SO MUCH BETTER! As I type this I'm so afraid I'm going to jinx and I hope they don't go out of business or sell out because I literally think I can't live without it.

So it's really my fault! I should've checked with my acupuncturist/herbalist first! I read all the wonderful reviews and purchased this product without doing more research. I've been taking asian herbs for a while but still get joint pain, headaches and have no sex drive. So i figured I should try adding more herbs to my regimen to resolve these issues. However, most of the herbs in this formula are not recommended for my conditions: Herpes, Candida, Sibo... So I immediately had a weird side effect happen with my ear when I started taking this formula. Almost like an air pocket is running through my ear. It's hard to explain. But when it gets worse it turns into ringing. So this was an immediate bad sign! Then came the strange food cravings... which led to some mood disorder because I really can't eat the foods I was craving but I tried eating them anyway...and finally herpes attempted to come back again... and the herpes has been gone for quite a while due to the herbs I've been taking with my acupuncturist. I only took this tincture for a few days. I tried the morning first. Then morning and evening... and then finally contacted my acupuncturist/ herbalist who only agreed with the Don Quai Root which is already in the herbs I take. He said I could try the black cohosh and vitex but not to take too much. So I decided to return the bottle for a full refund and purchase a liquid vitex which i will be carefully testing. I've given this product 3 stars because i thought it tasted good. It seems strong... because I felt effects immediately (just not good effects), And the return policy is great. So, the thing is... this will work for some and not for others. it's a gamble. But if you have my health conditions, chances are this product will cause some side effects. So just keep that in mind before deciding to make the purchase.

I've used this for years. I am never without a bottle. I'm 69 and should be over hot flashes but...here I am hot. This works and it takes the edge off you wanting to be so cranky for being hot. My husband appreciates it😊
