Pleasingly Serves its Purpose
So, I really like this calendar. I almost gave it only 4-stars, but as I wrote the following review, I decided I like it enough for 5 stars. I bought it because I sing with the local symphony chorus and 2 church choirs (one of which I direct), as well as being a cantor at one of those churches, and also take voice lessons. My husband is forever feeling like I "spring" rehearsals and lessons on him. Well, I decided I needed a calendar that I could write all the information on (proof is on the board that he had plenty of time to have already seen my schedule!). So, after looking at and reading reviews for a bunch of different calendar-type things on Amazon, I went with this one. I'm glad I did. It's huge and it serves its purpose. I have it on the wall where one hallways meets another in our house, and it's impossible to not see it as you walk down the hall in the morning, or throughout the day (the placement was my 3yo's idea, and I have repeatedly thanked him for his brilliance!). The package comes with the calendar and 1 black (no name) dry-erase marker that has a little eraser on the cap, and a plastic holder with adhesive backing. This I stuck to the top of the calendar (who wants to ruin their walls with that stuff?), and it seems to be a great location to store it. I repeatedly smoothed the calendar out on the wall, then lifted it all off when I realized it wasn't straight, so at least short-term it seems to lift off the wall with no problem. To go with it, I bought this Expo Caddy + 4 Markers & Eraser: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005DEW3DU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11 (also pictured), which I stuck to one part of the calendar with its included double-sided tape, because (once again), who wants to stick that stuff on your wall just to scrape it off a little at a time later? ...Exactly. The only thing *NOT* great about it is that it is somewhat difficult to erase week+old markings off of it with just a whiteboard eraser. This is partly because that's just how marker boards are anyway (!), but also because it's such a thin sheet of peel-n-stick that it conforms to the texture of your wall. This means that ink gets "into" ripples and such, leaving a non-smooth surface you're trying to wipe off. A little bit of water on a paper towel goes a long way, and when that fails... well, you can lick your finger, wipe the marking with said finger, wipe with the paper towel and voila! Whiteboard spray might do the same....

Great calendar - big and durable
We love this thing. It's on our wall in our kitchen and it's perfect. It took a few tries to get it up without any bubbles, but if you have the patience you can do it--just go slow and steady working out the bubbles as you go. Dry erase markers work perfectly on it, no issues whatsoever. Corners stay stuck in place even after cleaning and it wipes clean without any residue or staining. I have a feeling we will get a lot of use out of this! We live and breathe by our calendars and having this smack dab in the middle of our kitchen keeps the whole family in check.

Love it, but the eraser is useless.
I absolutely love the size of this calendar and it’s adhesiveness. There’s more than enough room in each square to write in appointments or activities. I had an easy time applying it to my wall too. My only gripe is that the eraser that comes with it is completely useless. When I tried to erase everything at the end of the month, nothing erased. I even tried it with Expo markers and those wouldn’t erase either. However, hope isn’t lost because those Lysol or Clorox wipes will totally erase the calendar at the end of the month. If it wasn’t for the eraser issue, I would have given 5 stars.

Great product. Easy to place on wall, and strong enough to stay!
First off, the packaging is great. I arrives in a sturdy plastic box to keep it protected. Not only that, but it included a dry erase marker that is able to be mounted to the calendar. (saved me a trip to the store picking up markers) You may need a second person to help mount it on the wall. Since it is rolled it, it is quite diffult to keep to level and smooth while removing the the back to stick it. One thing that worried me was the strength of the adhesive back, but it turned out to be quite strong and durable. But not too much to where you cant remove it. This was perfect for me, because when I originally mounted the calendar, I mounted it too high. I need to write on it while sitting down. So i removed it and replaced it lower on the wall. The backing stuck just as strong as the first time! Overall this was a great product and extremely useful for writing down quick appointments in my home office. I would recommend this to a friend.

Great for planning my rotation diet
I've just started using this calendar, but I can already see how much it's going to help. I got it because I have many food allergies and am supposed to be on a rotation diet but have never been able to make it work for long. This calendar is allowing me to do meal planning days and weeks in advance, which means I already know what ingredients I'll need so I can plan accordingly, making it much more likely I'll actually stick to the diet. Our walls are textured, so I was worried my writing would be illegible or the calendar wouldn't stick to the wall. First, we wiped down the wall with a dry cloth, then rubbed a cloth in small circles over the whole calendar after sticking it to the wall to make it adhere better, and we haven't had any issues with it coming down. The writing isn't very wobbly, either, but a regular eraser doesn't work well because of the texture, so I'm using a sort of rough cloth for erasing. It's not a perfect setup, but for $20 I'm happy with the results. There's plenty of space for writing all my meals and snacks for a day, which is exactly what I wanted. If you want to know more about how I'm using it for my rotation diet, I have a different colored marker for each day (day 1- blue, day 2- purple, day 3- pink), plus a different color (orange) for things I don't eat on a regular basis but that I'm adding in on a particular day, so that I make sure not to eat things from that food family within a few days of that day. For example, if I didn't normally eat broccoli but I was going to have it today then I'd write it on the calendar in orange to make sure I wouldn't accidentally eat cauliflower or cabbage (they're all in the same food family) the following couple days. If you follow a 4 day rotation diet then you'd do exactly the same thing, except adding in one extra color for day 4. I've only been using it the last few days so I'm still getting in the swing of it, but I can see how useful it is already.

Great for keeping the family organized
I purchased this calendar to help keep my family organized about events planned. This calendar is great! First of all, it is big (so if you are looking for something subtle, this is not it). Because of the size is it is easy to write multiple events on for a single day. It also makes it very easy to read. Cleaning has not been a problem for me. I clean my calendar with spray on dry erase board cleaner and a paper towel. It cleans easily and well. The calendar has days of the week listed, and spots for you to write in the month and the dates of each month. I use a different color to write down events for each person in the family. It makes it easy for me to keep track of what is going on and my kids really like being able to see what they have upcoming or add events themselves. Other parents who see the calendar typically ask me where to get one. Finally, the wall that I have this attached so is a textured wall. It has stayed on really well and the texture does not impede the writing surface. I recommend this calendar for teachers, parents, or anyone who like to have a good visual to stay organized.

This sucker is STICKY
Good board 2 problems 1. Adhesive sticks real bad when product touches other parts of product: meaning the corners and middle all stick real bad together not easy prying it apart 2. Forget trying to get it smooth I tried 4 times it ain't happening

Big enough to catch the eye of even the most oblivious student!
I'm a high school English teacher, and I bought two of these to hang on the wall of my classroom (right in the doorway where students like to hang out before or after class starts). They are BIG, which is exactly what I wanted. The students can see them from their seats, and it's an additional reminder of due dates and test dates when they leave my room. I do use expo brand markers, and I like to use a variety of colors to code the items I post. To erase it, I use a micro fiber cloth and expo liquid. Erasing it without the liquid is difficult, but it wipes easily with the moistened cloth. I'm used to needing to use the cleaning liquid because for some reason my school administration decided to remove my whiteboard in the room and replace it with a wall length sticker (none of these whiteboard stickers erase the same as the real boards in my experience). These calendars do their job! My favorite thing is after I post a new month and I have students who stand in front of it to take pictures. Why can't all students be that conscientious??

Great Size!
I bought this for my daughter for her first year of University. Great size and you can put 5 weeks of a month on the calendar. No problem dry erasing. I bought additional dry erase markers and erase brushes for it. When putting it up on the wall, it will roll quickly and stick to itself but doesn't do any damage. Still sticks great!

Great re-usable monthly calendar
Love this calendar for its reusability - easy to stick on the wall and write on, then if i need to move to a different room, i can peel it off and move it. No need for screws or hooks or anything like that. My only issue is sometimes it doesnt stick neatly - meaning there are some air bubbles, so you have to do it very carefully. But apart from that, its a great size calendar for me to fit my and my partner's schedule and social activities on.

Super
