Intriguing and persuasive
The authors make a powerful case for the therapeutic use of animation, and their enthusiasm shines through both text and illustrations. Much as I love an Aardman or a Pixar animation, I’d given little thought to the theoretical context, and this makes a very palatable introduction. On the psychotherapy side, where my core interest lies, there’s plenty to pique the interest. If you’re open to thinking about “myth, metaphor, and symbolism”, I predict you’ll want to see where this project goes next.

Incredible Insights into Mental Health & Animation
I’ve been following @QuintBoa on Instagram for the last year and the abundance of wonderful content I have seen over there prompted me to by his book. Really pleased I did, Quint has some incredible insights on how animation can help the mental health and well-being of children and young adults. All accompanied by wonderful still images taken from his animations. 100% recommend!

Really excellent read
This book cleverly and concisely marries animation with mental health and elegantly explains their connection in a way which many of us won't have considered before. A worthwhile read for anyone interested in either topic.

Great read!
An eye opener into the applications of animation in corporate communications but also how it can be used in psychotherapy - very interesting.
