This was something my son really enjoyed. It didn't take long to do it but he definitely had fun for the few minutes. He still plays with it to this Dat and he is 10. We got him several other since this one because he had so much dun opening the things.

Breaking the egg and finding the treasure inside is exciting, and the dino figure is well-made. It’s a great activity for kids and keeps them entertained for hours. Highly recommend for young dinosaur fans

Personally, I think these are a waste of single use plastic. The kids open them and never use any of the pieces again. With the exception of this one. My son is using the egg to hold the money he has. Finally, a treasure X toy that lasted for more than one day.

Bought for my 7 year old nephews’s birthday party and he loved it!

We purchased this for our (almost) 4-year-old. He absolutely loved each step of the process - finding the dino in the goo was especially exciting. Note: the ooze is pretty darn sticky, so beware! He needed my help to "chisel" the fossil with the provided tool. He also really enjoys "kinetic" type sand, so that was a fun surprise as well within the fossil shell. We got lucky and had a piece of "gold" in our egg (who knows if it is legit...but still fun either way). Will definitely purchase the Treasure X Dino egg again.

Such a fun engaging toy for the price. We have quite the collection and they are always fun. Will be buying another in hopes of getting a new Dino guy.

We bought this as a stocking stuffer for my son this Christmas. He was so excited. The toys just fit in his stocking. He opened and discovered the surprise then added it to his collection.

Kids really enjoyed opening the surprise creature. The slime was not messy stayed together did not stain.

Super fun to crack open but it was kind of a weird gooey mess. Depends if your kid or recipient would like that type of thing!

Bought at a more reasonable amount than other items in the TreasureX market as a trinket for him when he got back from sitter while at his sister’s recital. He’s loving it as a golden egg sensory treasure. (Squishy). Originally was looking at for Minecraft but that was just ridiculously pricey for one play session. Could be messy but it’s a win. I also was pleased by the size and presentation of the item. It’s a winner for the 9 year old that loves squishy things. It gets a 4 because of the price for something that doesn’t last past the assumed unimpressive figure inside. Boy hatchemals on steroids.

I was dealing with a migraine and needed something to entertain my 6 year old quietly. I remembered I had one of these laying around so set it up and he sat there happy as a clam mostly quiet(until he found something and there there was excitement lol) for just over an hour!I only soaked it for about 20 mins or was it only 10? Just long enough to soften the outside to make it seem easy and then he had to work at it after that.I will say have a baking sheet or something that can help contain the mess(you want the sides) as there is a lot of dust/mess and having thought to do that it saved me a load of cleaning up!Will definitely be keeping these around for those times where I need a moment, or need him entertained while Indo chores etc.

It fits in greatly with my humungous collection. It’s also very durable. I also like how the sunglasses go over the dinosaur on the egg.
