Bought this chair as me and my bf are both heavy gamers and were in desperate need for a chair. The chair sees a good 12hours+ use a day between the two of us. Pros:- *The shape of the seat means i wont be spending hours down the line trying to clean crumbs out of the seat. *Nice size, not too big or two small. Im 5ft 10inch and the size of the chair is perfect, my head doesn't hang over the top. *The cushion is a nice addition, i like it but my bf doesnt. It can be removed to suit anyones preference. *Adjustable back which has a nice smooth motion, and stays put. Same goes for the height adjustment. *Sturdy frame, not at all flimsy. *Comfy, the seat isnt too hard or soft and the arm rests are at a nice height. *Looks nice, i bought the grey one just due to white being a bad choice for long use as it would become discoloured after a while. The material is the sort that would wipe easy should anything be spilt. Cons:- *I put the chair together on my own and found the back a little fustrating to put on as i had to hold it in the right position to put the screws in, but the rest was easy enough to put together and comes with a page of instructions. *The back cushion goes on with elasticated straps which does make it a little hard to move up and down the seat to suit, though it does mean if you have it in a position its not going to move from there. *The foot rest is a little flimsy, we are unlikely to use it as the chair is at a table but for anyone wanting the footrest its not all that sturdy and does wobble somewhat which is to be expected from a fold under footrest. Overall a very good sturdy chair ideal for gaming. Pleased with my purchase.

As the chair arrived it took my around 20 to 30 minutes to assemble. The directions were clear to follow. I was not so convinced about fitting the chair back to the seat. The 3 screws and short amount of metal that slotted in did not seem to be strong enough to support reclining back, but so far it seems very strong and stable. Maybe that's just me. As for comfort, the chair is amazing and I will make very good use of the foot rest. Although you have to spread your legs to pull the thing out if already sitting down, it pulls and unfolds into place quite easily. Oh, and I have had a sleep in it too, very comfy for laying back, relaxing and listening to music. It reclines back around 140 or 150 degrees (not 170) but that's where the extra cushion can be awkward. As the diagram shows it goes at the base of the spine for comforst, and can slide up and down for personal preference. However, when fully reclined it may not feel comfortable for everyone based on your height and posture. Luckily it unclips easily, so you can fix at the head part of the chair (although loosely), and wow, that felt much better when reclined. It feels and works good when using a gaming controller. The cushioned chair arms are great support and comfort. Surprisingly the chairs arms did not obscure gaming ability as I thought they might. Also works well in sitting games in VR too, except virtual drumming ;-D Although I am waiting to see how it feels in hot weather in a few months, all in all, the chair is excellent quality for the price and comfortable. I love it, thank you.

Good bits - for the price the qualty is good. Came with clear instructions and fits together well. Quite supportive though firm. This will probably soften over time. Lumbar support cushion is a bit big and takes a lot of fiddling to get right. Gas spring works alright, culd do with being a bit beefifer. Levers are solid if unspectular. Thigh support is okay, though with most of the chairs in this sort of design don't really provide adequate thigh support. Materials are of reasonable quality and within expectations of price. Bad bits - none really. Foot rest is a bit small and if you're a big man you're going be scared of snapping the thing off. The spring should be bolted ot something and bigger, at the moment it relies on the wieght of the chair to keep everything in place which is dicey, and can cause issues when moving the thing if you're not aware of this. You need to fiddle for a while to find the right seating positions, which is comon for an adjustable seat, but something one should be warned of. Arm rests can be a bit low for some uses as they move when in reclining mode. Some rough bits of plastic that you can't see but you can feel on the inside of the arm resrts.

This is certainly a more comfortable chair than the old wooden chair I'd had to use for the past 3 years or so after my last office chair fell apart. It's easy for one person to put together, although you might find it easier to get someone to help you with putting the back in place. Instructions were reasonably easy to follow although a couple of the diagrams were slightly misleading. The lumbar support does its job. The reclining feature works well. However, there is no spring to it, so when you want to bring it back up, you have to release the reclining lever from its lock position and physically move the back to the upright position. The chair is quite hard but not excessively so and I expect it to soften with use. It's also pretty wide. My wife is obese and she can fit in it quite comfortably. For me, at 5'8", the back it high enough but I think you might struggle to be able to put your head against the back if you're taller than 5'10". The footrest is fairly flimsy. But my biggest concern with that is that one of the plastic footrest attachments will eventually pull free from the bottom of the chair. It's also quite difficult to get on with the footrest extended. Be aware that it's manual and doesn't automatically extend when you recline. Something I find ironic, though, is that gaming chairs are often described as "racing" chairs because of their look and feel. However, as almost all are on casters, they're virtually impossible to use for Sim Racing, which I do a lot of. It would be nice if chair designs at the lower end used some kind of caster locking mechanism because the only other alternative is for users to not fit casters at all, which in turn could damage laminate flooring. Another alternative would be to provide rubber feet that can be attached in place of casters for those who don't want their chairs to move when pressing the brake pedal. All in all, though, you get what you pay for but, to be honest, I don't understand how chairs can cost £300 - £600 when something like this does pretty much the same job.

I brought this gaming chair for my 11 year old son as a late Christmas gift. I was worried about buying it incase it was uncomfortable or poor quality but thankfully we are really pleased with it. Assembly was easy, it looks great in his bedroom & fits well with his desk. My son loves it & says it’s very comfortable & now his younger brother is asking for the same chair for his room!

I originally got this chair accidentally. I was after one with a tilt tensioner but once I had it I didn't want to let it it go. It came at a time I really needed a quality chair to use during the day that was flexible and this ticked the box. The chair is so spacious, looks great, arm rests give it a quality feel and the back is firm and good support if using it for long periods. I had to deal with the customer service team at Soniconline as there was a problem with the 1st chair but I found them helpful and quick to respond to sort the problem for me. I liked the chair so much I even convinced my sister to get one aswel. Worth the extra few pounds for the footrest aswel. Happy with the purchase!

I bought he GT Turbo for my 19 year old son who uses his pc a lot and likes playing games on his xbox, as do I, we both agree it's a very comfortable chair, he used to sit on his bed and play, now he sits on the GT turbo. the footrest is a nice addition but although it's securely attached I would not put excess weight on it (don't sit on it). It's very comfortable and supports your back (i'm 6'2, he's 6'). Footrest folds nicely out of the way when not in use. Easy to put together and comes with Allan key supplied. Height and angle adjusted with two separate leavers. Rolls smoothly and quietly on wooden floors. Yes I would have bought one for myself if I hadn't recently bought a computer chair.

(EDIT 28/12/21) Removing two stars as the chair has completely given up. Lift lever no longer works and the chair is stuck in it's lowest position, which makes it basically useless to me as I'm quite short. The arm rests keep becoming loose and need to be re-tightened every couple of days or they're useless. I've only had it for a year and a half. Not exactly the "this baby will last you for years" I was hoping for. The issues in my unedited review below were acceptable as they were reasonably easy to DIY and fix myself, but at this point the chair isn't really worth what it'd cost to repair it. For the price, I'd really have hoped it'd last a bit longer. (end edit) Disclaimer: my chair sees HEAVY use. My job means I end up sitting in it for 8-12 hours every day. If you use yours less frequently then you may not see the same problems I have. It's a decent enough chair, if you don't mind having to make adjustments occasionally. The arms become loose & wobbly fairly often and need to be tightened, and the actual seat will sometimes become unsteady & I'll have to re-settle it on the base to make it feel more secure. I've also noticed that the padding of the seat has worn down enough that it's uncomfortable and I'm going to have to look for a solution to that, but that's likely due to my very frequent use of the chair. Overall, my issues with the chair come down to its longevity. I can't imagine it having a very long lifespan even if you aren't using it as often as I am. That being said, it's comfortable enough, easy to assemble & a good chair to start with to find out if this 'style' fits for you, I suppose. Just don't expect it to last forever.

Jammer dat de beloofde voor 20.00 savonds weer eens mis ging. Kreeg hem pas de dag erna. De stoel komt uit Polen en de bezorging ging goed. Stoel is kwaliteit. Kan hem aanbevelen.

Ondanks de stoel mij prima zou bevallen, wat kleur en comfort betreft, toch maar 3 sterren. Vanaf het begin heb ik problemen met de gasdrukcilinder. In eerste instantie langzaam zakkende. Nu gaat het soms per dag een keer of vier naar de vloer. Hoogst irritant. Heb geprobeerd met de verkoper in contact te komen, niet één maar een keer of vier. En inmiddels ook met bemiddeling van Amazon, komt er geen reactie. Terwijl ik de stoel niet terug wil sturen, maar alleen een goed werkende gasdrukcilinder als vervanging wil. Want de stoel is prima. Zelfs na de vraag of ik ergens anders een andere cilinder kan kopen, die deze kan vervangen, blijft het stil. Voor mij is deze verkoper echt de slechtste die je maar kan voorstellen. Alle pogingen om te helpen worden onbeantwoord.
