The foam inside is almost nonexistent. I needed something to help connect a light that had a very small lip on the edge and ended up using 3 layers. Every third day the light falls off and has to be re-attached. After a month it stops sticking. Do not buy!

I really like the density and thinness of the tape. In areas where I needed to fill gaps, I made the tape two or three layers. The adhesive is just right. It held up in hot sun for my purpose. I have not tested the waterproof claims. I've never seen anything like it in stores.

This was the solution to my light strips falling off the back of my TV minutes after installing with the 3M tape they come with. I would recommend this tape to anyone needing to permanently install flexible LED light strips.

J'acheté ce tape double face pour coller des strips de lumières LED dans des traques d'aluminium puisque le tape sur les LED décollait et était de piètre qualité. J'ai reçu ma commande rapidement mais lorsque j'ai vu le rouleau plus ou moins bien roulé, j'ai douté de la qualité. J'ai lavé les traques d'aluminium avec de l'alcool avant de coller le ruban. Le ruban colle solidement ... plus que je n'espérais. Une fois mes bandes le LED collé, tout est extrêmement bien fixé même lorsque les LED sont brûlantes, tout résiste et reste en place. TRÈS BON PRODUIT

I used this tape to mount a 50" mirror to a TV bezel. It sticks like crazy. Ensure you use some isopropyl alcohol to clean both surfaces before you apply this. it won't feel very sticky to your fingers because they have oil on them, but any very clean surface will bond very well.

Tried using this double sided tape to mount a USB hub on the side of my wooden desk. The hub weighs less than 300 grams. The tape let go within one minute. Totally and utterly useless product. I expect better quality products to be available on Amazon!The description of this product states "Industrial Strength", "heavy duty"! You are kidding me, right????!!!!????

Used to install truck bed side caps. These have been holding up for a week so with out any issues. Can't comment on how much weight these hold up but I would imagine they would be fine for side trim as well. I wouldn't compare to 3m products but hard to beat for the length/price.

Product is not at all what I expected - too thin and I don't believe its going to work for my crafts - haven't used it to comment on the stickiness. For me not sure what to do with it, maybe I will find something eventually.
