Broke 13 months after purchase
I have been using this strap for a little over a year and found it comfortable and easy to use.The bolt to attach to camera (which uses an allan key) had started to thread after about 10 months - this made it become difficult to tighten as the allan key would slip.Last week a screw/bolt that attaches to the bracket to the camera, fell apart, releasing a spring and rendering the whole thing useless (as a part fell out in the grass, never to be seen again). I guess it's true what they say - that you get what you pay for.

Focus F2 shoulder sling
If you're 6'4" and rather large you might find the straps too short if you want to carry the camera across the chest, on the one shoulder it's ok'ish. From the way it's delivered you need to remove the bolt and insert it back in the other way around, then the base plate can screw into the tripod hole on your camera. There are loads of these rapid response straps out there but it's finding the one that suits you and you don't know that until you try. The camera fixing and ball swivel arrangement seems a little large and over elaborate to me and time will tell if it is secure for ever. I am using with the added safety strap but will that save the camera and a 18-300 lens if it needs to? I hope I never find out. Can't help thinking that with £2k worth of camera gear hanging precariously from my shoulder I'd still feel much safer with a neck strap traditionally attached directly to the built in camera lugs and my neck just had to suffer.

Good quality item but a few questions.
4 stars because there aren't any instructions. Once I'd worked out how the strap and Base plate connected (5 minutes, including head scratching) I was really pleased with it and found it comfortable to use. I'd appreciate some feedback from other users on the best way to fit the safety cord (I've put the metal fitting round the strap and the other end on the top strap lug of the camera but it seems a bit short and can get in the way). The other strap has completely baffled me, no idea what it's for! Also, when using the strap with a camera fitted with a large telephoto lens, should the plate be fitted to the lenses own tripod mount?

I haven't really decided about this yet. I've always ...
I haven't really decided about this yet. I've always used conventional camera straps so this feels understandably odd. The whole thing is rather clunky and the bracket which attaches to the base of the camera is VERY big, making it a bit harder to pack the camera in the bag - it protrudes quite a bit. I'm a bit unimpressed by the fact that it includes an extra wire which is to be attached as a secondary security measure, should the main connector fail - not exactly confidence-inspiring design?

Strap is great value for money and very comfortable
Bought this for my new Canon 6D with a 24-105mm L Lens. carried this round Rome for 2 days solid with the camera itself dropped into the Amazon Basics camera shaped bag when not shooting. Strap is great value for money and very comfortable.carried it cross body with no issues whatsoever. the plate at the bottom did come loose but my fault as i had not tightened it enough as i was nervous of overtightening. the weekend before I had used the supplied Canon 6D camera strap and the strap that came with the amazon basics bag. that was cumbersome and felt heavy. this is a MUCH better solution. Even hubby who is not easily impressed likes the strap

Looks the Part
So far it's doing the job. Two previous makes failed at the swivel rivet, this looks a much better design. Secondary safety strap not long enough if shoulder strap is connect to lens tripod bracket, although in their defense it does show it connecting to camera body

Buy it,it works great!
First thing I did after receiving this was stick the strap under my foot and pull up hard on the camera clip so see if I could break it. It's was fine. Snapped it up quick and still it was ok. So put my camera, battery grip and flash and my heavy lens on. Put the strap over my shoulder. Fit was good but found the straps could be just a little longer. After adjusting it and jumping arround for a while it got comfortable.Yea this strap is good. Seems safe for the camera gear.Used it today for a long shoot, got no ill effects from wearing it for 5 hours.Buy it,it works great.
