The package suggests putting just a few flowers in your cup, but I thought to myself that wouldn't be enough. This tea is a great value because truly, all it would have taken with that first cup is my now favorite two to three flowers. That first cup was as dark as ink! Now I know why you can use this as a colorant. As far as taste, don't expect a floral as you would with Rose or a spice as you would with lavender tea. This is almost savory like a broth unless you add honey or sugar. It's a bit earthy. I find I enjoy these more if I mix it with lemon peel and clove when brewing And of course, since I love edible flowers, I had to eat a few right out of the package, which I totally recommend. Now I've been sprinkling these on salads and such. They're slightly crisp before they melt in your mouth. And once again, more savory than sweet when eating plain.

I love this tea! Since it doesn't really have much flavor it's nice to be able to mix it with other stuff to make your own fun drinks in neat colors! One of the coolest things is that it will change color if you change the ph balance of the drink. Add a little lemon or lime and watch it go from blue to purple!

When it comes to food products, I always make sure to check the ingredients list and is relieved to see that it is OBLY butterfly pea flower. It has a light refreshing taste to it and a deep blue color! I love using this tea when I have guests over and impress them with the lemon trick! (Add lemon juice to turn it blue to purple) It definitely gets everyone amazed and makes it fun to drink!

This has a great flavor, it is subtle and refreshing. The blue color is fun too.

I’ve never had this tea before. To me, it tastes light and reminds me of hibiscus. I usually drink caffeinated black teas, but this is a lovely non-caffeinated herbal tea that I will drink. The price is reasonable for the number of tea bags you get in the package. I actually ordered this tea to try make asian desserts, but I haven’t had time to attempt that, looking forward to it!

There’s not much taste of the flavor so I added 3/4 cups of strawberry lemonade with 1/4 of this Blue tea. It’s fascinating and enjoyable to see and drink a unique blue colored tea. :)

This butterfly pea tea really makes for a refreshing beverage that is floral in taste and looks very enticing in a glass.
