I have read the following review before ordering mine>I expected a cheap seat, I got a cheap seat. What I didn't expect was the waste left on the seat. Pulled it out of the box and there were waste marks on the seat. Also reeked like fecal matter.but I hoped that I will avoid such a horrible fate. So I was truly shocked to receive the same fecal matter marked item. However, upon close inspection it was just a trace of brown packaging cardboard, this white item should be wrapped into plastic before inserting it into cardboard, that's all, happy end. By the way, this cardboard also stinks like waste but item itself is fortunately odorless. Just clean these brown marks and enjoy, especially if you are not too big and too heavy, otherwise everything can happen... included bags are good, they could use one bag to wrap the item.

Also reeked like fecal matter.Some bleach and elbow grease got it into usable condition, but the one I received was obviously not new. I am appalled. If the item has been returned you obviously should CLEAN it before sending it back out the door.

Purchased for camping, it states it's heavy duty but it's not. You really couldn't sit on it as it felt as you were going to fall.We still used it but didn't sit on it too much, we kind of had to squat more, but it was better than using a porta-potty.The top ring that is suppose to hold the bag is very thin, and weak. The only time it would hold the bag in place was when it was empty, of course after every use we would empty the bag, but right after you used it you would have to grab the bag quick or the weight would bring the bag and ring down, if that makes sense.

I am giving this product a low score because it is not built for adults and the description doesn’t advise of that. I bought it for my husband to use on his hunting trip. He is 5’9;and 180lbs (not big or overweight by any means), he tried it once and said this is not a seat for adults. Only small children at best. I’m bummed because it looked perfect in the pics. He didn’t use it the rest of the week. I really can’t return a portable toilet so I am out the money spent and disappointed in the product. I don’t recommend this unless you are buying it for the kids.

Great value, well engineered, I weigh 190 lbs (5'10") and supports me well. I plan to cut some free plywood from Home Depot scraps - 2 strips about 18 in long and 3 in wide. I will carve out dime size depressions for the feet to go in so the feet do not sink in the dirt when I sit on it. More surface area provides more stability. Co lapses flat for easy storage in car for camping. Light weight. Easy to clean. Durable. Good shipping package. Any trash bags from the store (or even shopping bags FREE) will work. If you want privacy, try large cardboard box or pop up shower tent (what I purchased too). SIMPLE solution to need. PS I am a Mechanical Engineer.

it's sturdy enough and a good height. the "snap on" ring that is supposed to hold the bag in place is a joke. instead use a plastic bag that has a tie around it and cinch it up or you'll end up with a mess, I guarantee it!

Seat does its job. The ring in the middle is useless, it wont hold a bag because its too loose and flimsy. You just got to find the perfect bag to use so you dont have to use the ring and it doesn't slide off. Seat diameter is smaller than the full size toilet. Quality is not so good.

I used this for a weekend camping trip. We had a cabin but there wasn’t a bathroom, only public bathrooms that were a short walking distance. I normally would just use the bathrooms but on this trip I was pregnant and did not want to have to walk in the middle of the night! Worked out perfect! Bags were easy to install and take out.

Its a camping toilet. It worked like it was supposed to and did great at Big Bend SP.

I've used this toilet a few times in car camping trips and plan to continue using.It's light enough to be put in my check in duffel even if I don't use it. It may be a little too fragile if you're very heavy as it's not super sturdy because it's lightweight and compact.

I bought the product brand new. The packaging was great the product seemed brand new, however upon opening they were black hair is in a weird smell.
