Linsoul Tripowin Zombur 4N OFC in Ear Monitor Cable, 3.5mm Plug, 1.25m | High Purity Oxygen Free Cable HiFi Wired IEM Cable, Cotton Yarn Outer Layer, for Musician Audiophile, w/o Mic, 2pin 0.78mm

I have a pair of custom molded Ultimate Ears Triple.fi 10 Pros I had made back when UE was run by Jerry Harvey. They were made nearly 20 years ago (2007) to provide full sound, with isolation, for use under a flight helmet. Since then, they also served well for motorcycle riding and some auto racing. They used to be designed for 0.78mm recessed QDC adapters but have since worn down over the years. Because of that, the exposed 2-pin adapters work perfectly. I bought the cables without mic since all of my applications are adapted TRS with an onboard mic, when needed. Since my IEMs need amplification to work properly, I always use an inline DAC and amplifier with mic and controls, so I have no need for a TRRS mic equipped cable. Based on many of the reviews that weigh down the review rating, it seems the mic equipped version can be troublesome anyways. Unlike all of my previous cables, these are wrapped with woven nylon, and thus much more manageable, while in use. The insulation on all of my old cables have since dried out and cracked, resulting in crosstalk. These should be much more durable for duty. While the ends are preformed with a curve for over the ear fit, they are stiffened with normal heat shrink tubing and thus not reformable without heating them up a bit with a heatgun. This may or may not affect your experience; I’m ambivalent as long as they hold their current shape. A reformable version is preferred but for $10, it’s hard for me to argue and I prefer durability over reformability. All of the connectors are metal and, combined with the woven insulation cover, highly durable. The straight 3.5mm plug should fit most applications; for me it’s perfect although if I could choose, I’d have a larger, grippier plug since I have to disconnect often. Hopefully the soldered connections within are done well. The cables overall are a bit thicker than what your IEMs probably came with but for me that’s a huge benefit. As for sound quality, they make my IEMs sound no worse than I can ever remember. At my age now, it’s difficult for me to say if they sound better, so I’ll just say they sound as good as the original cables. There’s a bit less cable noise than I remember. Overall, the 2-pin TRS cable is an excellent replacement cable for old, worn out IEM cables. They respond well with the amplifiers necessary to power my IEMs, are much less tangle-prone, and seem more durable than any of my previous IEM cables. Sound is full and strong with no interference or crosstalk. For only $10, I’m definitely buying a couple more as backups. Good stuff. If you’re an audiophile these may not fit your needs since their construction will affect analog sound quality. For the price, they may still be worth checking out for your needs. However, if you’re the type who thinks cable quality affects digital signals, I have a line of cold weather refrigerators to sell you.

Product works well, but the box was all messed up when I received it! I normally don’t care about stuff like this, but when there’s fragile pins on the device that can break very easily, I think that can be a problem. I’m not sure if the packaging was tampered with before coming to my house, or just poor handling, but this should be something that is worked on

The cable works, however they aren't as snug as my original cable, making it easier to accidentally separate the cable from the iem.

Right cable began to fray at the base (near the connectors) within 2 months of regular use. Stopped working 5 months in unless held a certain way. Now completely dead.

I'm using these on IEMs that came with a far more robust cable with modular connections (Timeless AE). Frankly, I just stick with 3.5mm so I don't care much for the modular features, though that's cool. Unfortunately, I find thicker cables to be a bit annoying for wrapping around my hands before sticking the IEMs into the case. These don't give me that issue, and the connectors seem fine. I don't notice any sound degradation or anything, and I like the sleek black appearance. While I also own a couple Tripowin Zonie cables, these are lighter and thinner. To some people, that's not really a good thing, but it all really depends on what you want. It's quite flexible and will obediently coil and uncoil without problem if you learn to "roadie wrap" your cables (if you don't know how, I recommend looking up how to do it - works for all sorts of cables and keeps your stuff from tangling or getting kinks). I've been only using these for a couple of weeks and I only use my IEMs to listen to stuff at my desk at work or home, so can't really comment on long-term durability just yet. But so far, so good.

I got these cables a few days ago, and I'm SO glad I upgraded from the stock Tripowin Vivace cable. It fits really well, and the gray connectors even make it look like it came stock. It feels really nice in the hand, very light when worn, and it's really flexible when you're wrapping it up. The stock Vivace cable was a little hard to coil up into the circular case I have and had some memory to it, but neither of those are an issue with the Zombur. I don't have super audiophile hearing, and we all know cables don't affect audio quality much anyway, but this sounds at least on par with the stock cable. The only complaint I have is that the chin slider doesn't have very much grip, so unless you put it right under your chin it won't hold very well. I like to put my chin slider about halfway down, so this doesn't work well for me, but it's hardly a dealbreaker.

My Thieaudio Hype 2 came with somewhat bulky, fancier white cable. This one's perfect for my needs and preferences. It's lowkey but really nice, with braided black fabric and dark (gunmetal?) metal. Pins stay securely in the IEMs. Sound quality is (unsurprisingly) identical to stock cable's. It's thin and easily fits with my IEMs in a small carrying case. For me, great for the gym and just wearing in public.

If you're looking for a thin and light cable that's easy on the ears this is it. Was skeptical from the reviews but its $10 so I figured why not. I'm not disappointed. The cotton feels soft but that's not even the best part about this cable. The hook part that loops around the back of your ears is made of some soft and smooth almost papery feeling material. Because it's so soft and this cable is so thin it's like it's not even there. I love my Tripowin Amber cable but I can't use that cable for longer than an hour. Eventually the back of my ears get fatigued and begin to hurt from the size and weight of the Amber. Granted the Amber is most likely more durable than the Zombur but seeing as they're only charging $10 for this cable it wouldn't exactly break the bank to buy a replacement if it breaks. Honestly my only complaint about this cable is that it doesn't have swappable terminations like the Amber does. It would've been nice to have the option to swap in a 4.4mm balanced termination. I would've happily paid an extra $5 for that feature. It's the only reason I can't rate this cable five stars. Otherwise perfect cable. Great for people like me with sensitive ears.

Its annoying to look for a cable that has a small headphone connector that isn't oversized until now, I had to return my older cable after three months and get a replacement which they were fine with! It only took a couple of days to arrive so I'm happy.
