Massive improvement in DAB signal fitting this antenna
Replacing my old glass mounted DAB whip antenna as well as the standard AM-FM roof antenna with this single antenna made a huge difference. The signal on the old DAB antenna was awful, dropping out all the time. Switching to this antenna the signal is rock solid where it used to be constantly dropping out before. The AM signal seems to be good for Radio Caroline on 648 MW in here northern Lincolnshire and the FM seems ok too, although the DAB is the main boost. I have fitted it in a Mk1 Vauxhall Insignia. A point to note with this is that the old antenna had a square roof hole which is slightly bigger than the base thread of the new antenna so no drilling required. I have put extra grease under the base as not sure how well it will seal otherwise. It is sitting flush so hopefully will keep the water out. Very happy with the difference and can enjoy listening to DAB now unlike before unless in a really strong signal area.

Should have bought this years ago
Brilliant, easy to install and works without any drop outs. I have struggled to get a decent signal with the stick on screen aerial type. With this aerial I can get good signal in rural areas without a problem. Re-scanned stereo and managed to find a whole bunch of new stations. Good investment and so glad I bought it

Very good aerial
Excellent aerial, its definitely an improvement over the stick on one that came with the stereo. The fact that it replaced my FM aerial as well, makes it really good value at £35.

No more DAB signal loss due to reverse camera interference
Used on 2008 VW Touran. Best feature?? !!!Dab Signal not blocked by reverse camera interference like it was with window sticker antenna!!!! Then.... Fits perfectly. No leaks. No additional drilling. Wire connectord can pass thru the securing nut No wire cutting required. Power supply splice needed for red wire. Used with aftermarket Android-> q53pro DAB great signal, 100% better than window sticker FM signal still as weak as original...not sure if is antenna or the stereo.

A potential challenge to install, but very well worth the effort!
The ol' Ford Mondeo antenna had corroded and worn out thanks to time and lack of care from prior owners, and in my desire to pursue a greater listening experience while on a drive, I decided to drop the extra cash needed for this piece of kit. I had replaced the old head unit, offering FM and DAB+, but the cheap stick-on-glass antennas weren't up to the task in my more rural areas. After wrestling with it for a couple hours total to install, drilling a bigger hole for it to sit, and routing the cables cleanly (which the 5 meter cables aided in greatly), it fired up without complaint and now I rarely, if ever lose signal to all my new stations! 21 new stations that are rock solid on DAB+, and 18 new stations on FM, which is such a relief to see. If you have remotely enough time, the little bit of cash, and skill and need for it, perhaps replacing your original antenna is worth every penny with this one!

Actually works
I bought this as I had a USB DAB tuner that came with a windscreen antenna. The windscreen antenna was not good, picked up 30 stations and would not give a good signal at all. Installed this antenna, and it is night and day. Over double the amount of stations on a scan, most of all though is that the National stations all give a full signal despite living miles from any city (local stations aren’t so great, but they are all miles away so would expect them to be fine when I am in the city they are broadcast from). The only issue I would say with this is that I had to increase the hole in the roof from the factory antenna in order for this to fit. Once I had done that it was pretty simple to install, it does need a bit of understanding of how the trim comes off etc, but all in all it just works.

Unable to fit
Looks like quality kit and was really looking forward to using it, especially since other reviewers seem to be very happy with it. However, after several hours trying to fit, have finally given up. I am unable to get the retaining nut onto the bolt - if the bolt was 5mm longer I am sure it woud have been a doddle and I would have been very happy. Fitting to a Peugeot Partner 2016
