Good fit, comfy to wear, fit for purpose.

Perfect fit for a broad foot at the expected size. Comfortable out of the box. Look ok for a trainer-style shoe. They are on the warm side though - even in a Scottish spring (10°C) my feet were getting hot.An update on my original review - the sole came away on the left shoe and was starting to detach on the right one, so they've gone in the bin just over a year from purchase. This is without them having been used much over the winter (they weren't waterproof, so proper boots were the order of the day). I've walked a fair few miles in them though, and they weren't expensive so all in all, reasonable value for money and I'm not changing the 4 star rating.

I was not expecting much for the price as I just needed a pair of walking shoes to take my dog out for walks as my current pair which were another brand started to fall apart.I have had these walking shoes a while and they are great for walking and are comfortable too which is great, I might buy another pair soon as they are great value for money.

Size (13) seemed correct and they felt initially quite comfortable.I soon noticed though that the sole was very flat - almost like plimsoles and with no appreciable arch-support.I inserted some memory-foam insoles with a raised arch and it made a huge improvement.Overall, for the modest purchase price, these shoes are reasonable but, unless you add some better insoles, I wouldn't want to hike too far in the unmodified shoe.

I have lots of Mountain Warehouse clothes which are all spot on so I decided to try a pair of their walking shoes. I have to say I’m very disappointed. The first thing that hit me was the very plastic toe cap, the material of the shoe is fine, decent support around the ankle and the width was good as well. I’m size 11 and the fit was great. The big problem I found was the heel, it’s too flat. I wore them around the house for 2 full days, walking socks on and they made my calf’s ache. Your foot is virtually flat. That said I did a proper walk in them at the weekend, Moel Famau. I could feel the gravel through the sole especially on the heel. I chose to take the long path around the outside, I had to change back into my old boots at the top. Whoever finds them in the car park, good luck. Sorry Mountain Warehouse.

Comfortable, lovely soles, not smelly. Haven't destroyed them in two months which makes them better than any other shoes. Will absolutely buy again.

Not particularly comfortable

These are great in every aspect, but just too tight on my ickle pinkie toes, so sent back and got another pair but different style in a size above and they’re great. Still from Mountain Warehouse 👍🏻

First time buying this brand of shoes and I'm happy with them. I wear US size 12 and the sizing is perfect. The shoes are lightweight, they look good, and seem well built. I bought these to use as my biking shoes - wanted something with decent amount of toe protection and sole grip and they deliver both. I ride mountain bike with flat pedals and the studs on the pedals grab on to the shoes really well. I've also worn these shoes on walks and they are comfortable and great, but only for short walks. If you plan to wear these all day or for long walks, I highly recommend putting in better insoles because the ones that come with the shoes are thin piece of foam material and there's basically no arch support.
