I’m really happy with the quality of both metal and plastic in this melon baller. Really handy and easy to use. Only minus - it’s much bigger than I expected 😂😂

I liked that this had 2 sizes, it’s a lot sharper than I thought it would be and cuts the melon as you would expect, I tried it on apples as well and does the job well, very sturdy so would definitely recommend, delivered on time .

Excellent and very handy gadget. This melon baller is great to handle as it has a bit of weight behind it and a good grip. I used it for starters on Christmas Day and found it easy and fast to prepare the melon balls. I have also discovered that it is perfect for cutting out the tops of sponge buns to make fairy cakes. It will also come in handy for sugarcraft with the fondant icing. Dipped in icing sugar first to prevent sticking.

Well what do you expect it’s pretty poor and overpriced . Hey it’s an oxo item!

Intuitive to use but I still viewed a YouTube video. Fast learning curve. Never used this device before but mom’s knives are dull (long story) and this item seemed safer to cut fruit. Bought a personal sized watermelon and a dragon fruit (red skin white fruit inside). Super fast! The entire melon was cut up in less than 10 minutes, same with dragonfruit. Will be using this butter on cantaloupe honeydew green kiwi …..I have an apple corer, but one of the photos here showed a half apple with its core cut out with this cutter. Good to know. The edges are sharp so don’t think it’s a dull edged ice cream scooper. Oxo is my go to brand now that I’m older and arthritis is kicking into my hands. Durable! Grip is awesome, handle is not too long, and I like the smaller size too especially for dragonfruit or kiwi
