VAHDAM Turmeric Ginger Herbal Tea Loose Leaf, 100g (50+ Cups)

I got this using hubby's prime account, I'm actually surprised I didn't get a telling off for spending so much on tea. But saying that I'm sure he will be so pleased to know that this was actually a very good buy. I have been an avid herbal tea drinker for years. Ginger is one of my usual but twinnings and the rest of them don't seem to hit you the same way as freshly boiled ginger tea does. But in order to get the true benefits you have to boil it on the hob for quite some time. I use a persian recipe with tumeric and cinnamon and the thing has to simmer for 30 minutes. So I wait a very long time for my 150ml of tea 🙄. But I like it so much I do it anyway. Having become so sick of this process and wanting to drink my ginger and tumeric tea more often through out the day, I decided I would try this fancy fancy tea. After reading the reviews I was convinced this could be a decent tea and the fact that Oprah has it, well how could I not try it! I will be honest I didn't hold a lot of high hopes for IT, as at the end of the day it's dried down ginger and dried tumeric. But it has pleasantly surprised me, to the point that I will not be returning to twinnings and their fancy cheap offers at the supermarket. The ginger has a nice kick and the tumeric comes out. I'm pretty sure there will be no hope left for my teeth to ever be white, as I'll be drinking this regularly along side my morning black coffee! The packaging made it decadent and knowing that it was harvested in November this year made me know for sure how fresh it was. I don't give reviews as a regular thing but I honestly felt like this deserved it! I did add a tsp of buckwheat honey into mine but I regretted it straight after as it took away the taste of the ginger. And it's got a natural sweetness already. This will become a regular tea for me, I will now have to arrange my finances to suit my new fancy tea lifestyle. But joking aside it is something that's worth it. And I really want to try the rose black tea blend one but I'm going to hold myself back and finish at least a box in my tea cupboard before I go crazy shopping.

I received my purchase of turmeric ginger tea today. I made my first cup on its own. It's aroma is amazing, the smell of turmeric is as lovely as turmeric essential oils. The ginger complements the turmeric without over powering it. My second cup I decided to make what some call Golden Milk/Turmeric tea. I put the tea along with my other ingredients into a saucepan and warmed for about 5 minutes. I then strained it off into a cup and served. Delicious and just as good as the normal way I make it. I'll definitely be switching to making it with the tea from now on. I love the label stating when the tea was harvested (November 2018) very fresh indeed. Thank you for a wonderful product.

I am not a herbal tea fan however I am sold on this one. I love it. I drink it each day for it's antiinflammatory properties but during the daytime as I found it was keeping me awake at night. Perhaps it's the ginger that acts as a stimulant. It's a good quality product. 5 stars from me 👍

Nice tea. Just ginger and turmeric, no additional flavours. I recommend to increase brewing time to 10 minutes though. Way too much packing: 2 cardboard boxes tide up with paper band. In each box you will find... 1 plastic bag with tea + 1 empty plastic bag to transfer tea after opening (why!?). Folded paper leaflet, paper card and sticky label. It's 2020! One, sealed paper bag would be enough.

Wonderful aroma of fresh turmeric root and ginger when I opened the vacuum pack. So fresh. Resealable bag with label enclosed. So easy now to take to ward off my arthritis. A tiny amount scooped into my stainless steel tea infuser, stood in my bone china mug and boiling water poured over. Left to infuse whilst breakfast egg is soft boiling. Delicious breakfast. And some of my pennies are going to provide breakfast and education for the farmers' children in India. Have never had such a fresh product and I have been buying tea direct from India for years. Try it.

I am loving this tea. I make a pot each day with one teaspoon and I have two cups from this. It’s beautifully presented. I suffer from migraine and my hope is that taking this daily will reduce the number of migraines . So far so good! My only query is whether I should add black pepper to help absorb the turmeric. I love the ginger as it gives the tea a refreshing ‘bite’!

Thought it was going to be like Lemon, Tumeric and Ginger but not quite the taste of Good Earth teabags sadly.

Nice flavour added extra fresh ginger

gorgeous intense flavoured tea- really nice with hot milk & honey

Have never been a hot tea drinker. From the south where tea is sweet and with ice. After cutting my coffee down to one cup in the morning and wanting something to drink besides tons of water, I decided to try something different. I like the taste of ginger so decided to try a ginger turmeric tea, which isn't really "tea" because there are no tea leaves in it. I wanted something that had actual pieces of ginger and turmeric root so I settled on this one after reading reviews from several different brands. I was amazed at my first cup, the aroma and the flavor. I do sweeten with a little honey or agave. I do find it to be a little pricey so after my first bag I tried a few other brands. I can honestly say the ones I tried don't hold up against this one, I found them to be weak and bland. If you like ginger and turmeric, I say try this one.
