Great Straightfoward Tablet that Ticks all the important boxes
Really impressed with this tablet to replace my 8" Tesco Hudl 2. Screen is excellent and the brightness control range covers a useful spread of practical uses including reading in the garden and in bed. The speakers are not up to much but OK for video or alarms (not music really). I regularly use Spotify with a blue tooth speaker which sounds fine. Battery life is good. I use it mainly for reading/web a couple of hours a day and it will go 3-4 days without a charge. It is larger than my previous 8" tablet but makes reading noticeably easier without being at all cumbersome to carry around. It is thin and glass front and back. Personally I found it felt worryingly delicate, like carrying round a pane of glass, although the construction is actually sturdy and professional looking. I got a case straight away which adds to the weight and thickness but makes it feel more robust.USB connection is the new USB-C which is a pain but the way things are going. Micro - C converters are cheap on ebay and a good quality cable is supplied with the tablet. Not too much bloatware except microsoft office trials.

Won't upgrade to Oriel.
This is my second tablet that I've owned, the first being a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 which after 5 1/2 years is showing its age. This tablet is far superior being lighter, quicker, better display and with a longer lasting battery. The battery lasts me with normal use about 15 hrs.I knew when I bought this tablet (March 2019) the O/S (Nougat) was about 2 years old but I did expect to be able to upgrade to Oriel, unfortunately and for whatever reason, Lenovo will not (at the time of writing) be issuing an upgrade. This means for me that this tablet (security/usage wise) will not last as long as I had hoped. It is still a good tablet but just be aware of this shortcoming.

Good device let down by bloatware and slow updates
Update: do not buy this tablet the joke of a company Lenovo have abandoned it after only 7 OTA updates and no android Oreo. A disgusting practice by Lenovo. The advertisement for the tab 4 10+ is inaccurate, I've got confirmation from lenovo that the productivity pack Is NOT compatible with this tab regardless of advertiment. The device itself is pretty dam good. Decent speakers, nice screen, nice spec, sd expansion. The 1 star review is simply because lenovo have been very slow to update to android 8, and on top of this introduce bloatware in the updates and falsely advertised this product. The productivity bar is a great addition to android but is ruined with a permenent alexia button. I don't don't like companies assuming ownership of my device and not offering ways to remove bloatware.A pity as it's a nice tablet other than lenovo moronic choicesEdit: update lenovo alexia can be uninstalled if seems now.

Brilliant, powerful, fast"
I'd owned a previous lenovo tablet, primarily used for travelling on planes (i prefer my own tv and films) but it had fallen a little slow, but if my previous tablet was a nice Audi A4, this thing is a Ferrari F40! It's lightning fast, never slows down, never stutters, never gets stuck waiting for anything going on, even with multiple windows open. And the battery is almost as good as the previous tablet, getting around 7 to 8 hours of constant playback full screen HD video without charging, fantastic.

Good choice for a replacement tablet
This was a tablet bought as a replacement for my 2 year old Samsung Galaxy Tab S which unexpectedly failed with graphics problems and blank screen syndrome. A Google search indicated that there is a known problem with the graphics. The screen resolution and virtually no bloatware of the Lenovo is a bonus for the price I paid for this particular tablet. The only difference to the Samsung I have found to date was when I had downloaded the "Sky Map" app. I found that the program would not work in tracking mode as there was no built in Compass or Accelerometer to track the stars. Not a big problem really, just passing on my observations to other possible interested astronomy purchasers for this product.
