Well made. Well optioned. Great value.
Bought these to install in the ceiling of the new roof that I built over part of my deck. These lamps are very well made, have the option of five different light color temperatures, and are dimmable. Have not seen them in full illumination at night, but appear very bright as mocked up on my kitchen counter. They come with their own mountable electrical boxes that accept standard electrical box hardware/fittings, with a built in pigtail that lets you have a lot of variability in how you want to mount the box and the lamp, and you can disconnect the lamp from the box while you are mounting the box and running the hard wire. They have the simplest, yet most effective mount which is simply pushed through the plywood ceiling and will be very secure. This entire set of six was less expensive than EACH of the six recessed can lights that I put under another section of roof overhang that I built a few years ago. And that doesn't include the cost of the floodlight bulbs that I also had to purchase for each of those light fixtures. AND, the other recessed lights that I put up had the most troublesome, spindly, and less secure mounts. I am very pleased with these lights. Wish I had known about them when I spent nearly $300 and several days installation of the former lights that I purchased from a well known building supply store.

Easy to install, brightness is unmatched and build is quality.
These lights are great! I used these to replace a bunch of boob lights in a basement remodel. They are super bright with great throw and the options for different color temps is fantastic. However, the color temps are off. 5k was much too blue and I had to take them down to adjust. The 4k is much closer to daylight and is pretty much 5k and was just the color temp I wanted. The wiring box is decent build and the holes are all cut perfectly. My only suggestions to mfg is to perhaps adjust your color ratings on the side of the units to be more true to scale. Increase the spring strength and wire thickness of the arms slightly, as the lights can sag and so caulking is necessary. Lastly, maybe include a deburring tool or something for the sharp edges once you punch the holes. The overall build quality of this is high quality and the grounds etc all looked nicely secured.

Very easy install
I replaced both the old 90s fluorescent box fixture and also the adjacent dining area pendant in my kitchen… so I have purchased and installed 16 of these lights now. The size hole saw to use for 4” lights is 105mm. Test the hole saw you plan on using on cardboard and that way you don’t make the wrong size hole in your ceiling. Right?! The first light in your multiple run of lights goes where the box for old light used to be. Most boxes are smaller in diameter than the 4” light, therefore if you remove the old box by knocking it upwards into attic space, you can use that hole for your first light, enlarging it as necessary, and connecting these wires into the first new box using the push connectors supplied. Each light comes with a box which indicates it can be installed in contact with insulation and vapor barriers rated to 90C which includes standard fiberglass insulation. There are not 1/2” bushings to protect wires in knockouts so you will need to buy these if needed/desired. The box fits through the hole for light so if you make your wires long enough, you can wire and then stuff it into the hole without going into attic space if desired. Of course if you want to secure box to a truss or staple down the Romex wire, you probably need to go into the attic. The box has the variable light settings on a switch on the outside. Dangle the white cable out the hole and connect your light. Repeat for all lights in run. If you don’t know how to wire these, watch a video or get someone to help. I like to leave pushing actual light into the hole until the very end so that I can easily reach up to the box and adjust the variable light setting. Once you test it all out, then put the lights into the hole in ceiling. The spring clamps make this very easy. There is a foam gasket that rests between the ceiling and the aluminum light housing for a good seal. Zero issues with lights that "didn’t work." I think the light brightness and warmth settings are more than adequate and I have all mine set on full bright daylight so that I can hear angels sing every time we flip the switch.I feel like I’ve been waiting 20 years these. They are perfect for my needs.

Very nice lighting, one thing...
These seem like very high quality lights that will last many years - and they are actually ETL listed unlike many of the others with no listing, or a fake listing with obvious problems (no ground wire? That's not UL or ETL certified!)My only concern with these lights are the color temperatures - there's no way the 2700K setting is a true 2700K, they appear a fair bit cooler. This made for a slight annoyance when installing these as I set them to 3000K thinking "that's the second warmest temperature, I don't want the room to be too yellow" but had to pull them down and adjust because their 3000K setting was too cool.Just keep in mind if you want to keep these in a "warm" space that the selectable color setting is more "variations on how cool you want the lighting" rather than what I believe to be true warm options.

So Romantic!
I installed 2 in our bedroom and it adds such a great ambience. I had old gimbel ring spot fixtures in there before that were dated and ugly. Their rim was 7" so I appreciated that these came as 8" diameter fixtures so I could completely cover up the marks of the older fixture.Installation wasn't bad at all. Totally worth it.Only thing is - I don't need the other 4. Wish they came as individual or 2 packs instead of 6 packs. Oh well.

Filled the existing hi hat hole
6" hi hats have an almost 7" hole to fill and these met the challenge. Great dimmable light with selectable white color makes these perfect for replacing old recessed lights.
