Works great!
Works great! Keeps my laptop cool even during long gaming or editing sessions. Itโs quiet, sturdy, and does the job perfectly. Definitely worth it!

Cool -- but not totally lap friendly...
This cooling pad delivers solid performance, especially for moderately overclocked CPUs (fewer PROCHOT events), and it does a good job of shielding your legs from heat. That said, the airflow can make one's legs feel cold, and the underside (without a *broad* non-slip surface) has a tendency to shift during use. With COORELโs product lineup, itโs surprising they donโt offer a beanbag or memoryโfoam (or even a thin silicone) underside attachment for added lap-specific comfort. The included clipโin phone holder is a nice idea -- but in practice it only works reliably on a flat surface; otherwise, it droops in a frustrating way. Another odd design choice is the flipโup stops which keep the laptop from sliding downward, which have sharp points at both ends. They dig into wrists and arms -- especially with thinner units; I canโt imagine why the designers opted for that shape. The fanโspeed dial feels more like a marketing feature than a practical one: If youโre using a cooling pad in the first place, you probably want the fans at maximum. Despite these quirks, the pad is lightweight, adjustable, and effective at cooling. For the price, itโs a practical solution, even if it leaves one wanting ergonomic improvements.

Cheap Cooling Laptop with some Issues but Solid Customer Service - (Updated)
Updated Review: The seller reached out to me and offered me the choice between a refund and a replacement cooling mat. I chose the replacement option. It arrived in 2 days and is much better than the original photos I posted. All fans work and the fan speed knob is present. The fans also spin a bit faster without being noticeably louder. Temps on GPU/CPU are down 5F-7F on average, testing at 144hz playing Elder Scrolls Online at 1440p on my RTX 3070 laptop. Based on the customer service I received and the replacement product, I deem this a good, cheap laptop cooler, and have added 2 stars to my review. Thank you ICE COOREL for reaching out to me and making things right. Original Review: I ordered this to replace a 1 year old Aicheson laptop cooling mat that broke. It had one large fan and did a great job for about a year then died. I wanted a cheaper, lighter laptop cooler with additional features for holding the laptop in place and providing tilt easily. First, I ordered the 100mm version BUT received the smaller 70mm fans model instead when the package arrived. It was going to be a hassle to ship it back immediately so I decided to keep it and put it through its paces. The cell phone holder piece was broken but lets be honest, it's a gimmick and most of us don't really need that. For the first two days, the cooling pad worked as intended, knocking about 5 degrees F off my GPU temps on my laptop with a 3070 in it. I like the fact that there are retractable clips included to keep the laptop sliding off of the pad. On day 3, two of the fans started spinning much slower and one of them on the bottom stopped spinning completely. There is also no adjustable fan speed knob, it looks like there is a place for one on the right side but it was broken off in transit. When I hold the cooling pad in my hand, I can shake it and hear something rattling around in it. I suspect it was the broken knob. Does it do the job? Well, in a way, yes it does. It tilts easily, is lightweight and holds the laptop in place at an angle. It is also quiet. If I had received the unit I originally asked for I would have been happier. Fans shouldn't die on day three. I am considering returning this for a refund. I'll update this review if customer service reaches out to me. In the interim, I recommend spending a bit more and getting a different cooling pad if you need something more reliable.

Significantly cooler under load!
So I have a HP Spectre x360 I got second hand, and when I was running Sky: Children of the Light on it, temperatures would absolutely soar. 91 degrees Celsius. I aimed a tower fan straight at it, and that put it down to 87 degrees Celsius. Then... I put it on the cooling pad. Now, under load, it's staying consistently right around 57 degrees Celsius! I did not expect it to be THAT effective. But it is! VERY nice cooler, at a very reasonable price!

Good Concept, Cheap Build
It never did much cooling from the beginning, but it was quiet and kept the heat off my lap, so ... you get what you pay for, right? Besides, it wasn't the trouble to return it. Now it has stopped working altogether. I opened it up, looking for a short or disconnect. This thing is soooo delicate inside. Save yourself the trouble. If I find a better solution, I'll add an update here and point to that better option.

Essential for a powerful laptop outdoors in summer!
I'm an astrophotographer, so I use a laptop outdoors in summer. Summer nights can get very warm in New Jersey, so something to keep good airflow around the laptop (particularly the base, near the HDD & CPU) is essential. And this gadget does the trick. Extremely quiet, runs off one of the laptop's USB2 ports, multiple speeds via a scroll wheel, fancy (& useless for me) little phone holder on one side. I could give the illumination a miss, but it's subtle enough not to bother me. Does its job.

Not a terrible purchase.
Not sure if the cell phone tray that is supposed to come with it was included. We didn't see anything else in the box but we could have missed it. It works quietly and all the fans seem to spin seamlessly. It does a pretty good job of keeping everything cool but the cord it comes with is extremely short. Since it has to be plugged in at all times to work, it is not ideal. The cord is only about 2 feet long. Its made of plastic but nothing is cracked or broken as of now. It does not light up as the pictures seem to indicate but that doesn't have anything to do with the functionality of it.

Great product for the price
The cooling pad was as described, I found it well made, extremely quiet even on full speed. Works like a charm and I notice my laptop does not get nearly as warm as it was. I like the product and give it two thumbs up . I also like the fact it has NO lights so I can sit near others at night if they are watching tv. Extremely easy to use. Only complaint I have which is minor is that the usb power cable that came with it was only about 28 inches long and is male usb both ends. . Luckily I had another that was much longer that I used however it could be a problem for others., most do not have a double male ended cable to readily switch it. . Power inlet on pad is on right side but my power source comes from left side. If cord is to short you can also use a usb charger on an extension cord to get closer. I would definitely recommend this cooling pad. Slightly heavier then I thought but no big deal. Worth every penny.

super quiet
this is a first impression review. I purchased and received the product a few days ago and I must say all in all, I am very impressed upon first use. the fans aren't the strongest, but they're incredibly quiet (I actually cannot hear them at all as I type this, but there is some ambient noise in the room and from an open window). I like that the pad connects to my laptop for power instead of a wall outlet, and the little stoppers that flip up to stop the laptop from sliding are very useful. overallvery pleased with this product and, assuming it lasts, I would recommend it to friends and family.

Worth it
As an old gamer with 30 years of MMO under my belt, I love this thing! My Asus laptops heat up fast with the work I put them through and this little cooler keeps them icy. I have to get another one for the smaller Asus so I don't have to switch it out all the time. Quiet and works great. It's a great relief to not worry about over heating any more!

AMAZING!!!!
I love this cooling machine, keeps my laptop cool and can't tell if the fan is on I have to check and see if it's working and it is on and so quiet! I recommend this one if you need a cooling machine for laptop!! I love it!

i guess you get what you pay for.
Plastic is cheap quality but works, fans are not really silent, i have one fan that rattles slightly and looks like it may fail prematurely, when i shut it off it stops in about a second while the others take a couple seconds to slow down. the USB-A to usb-a cable for power is odd and makes it tough if you need something longer, i had to plug mine into my router for power as my usb hub is too far away. (my laptop doesnt have usb a)
