Ashbrook Roofing Green Mineral Standard Grade Shed Felt with Nails and Tube of Adhesive 10m

This review is not solely about the suppliers poor customer service.Item not as pictured being a nice green mineral colour it's actually a very dull dark grey bordering black colour.I requested a return but it must be at own expense even though it's a false description.It's expensive to return.The quality of the product is very poor.It tears very easy & readily.Amazon please note the picture of the product along side it's description is false.It's not a GREEN mineral coloured as pictured.It's very misleading product description & picture please amend.

Arrived in a few days and as described, with sealant and tacks.I installed it this weekend in about 90 minutes including removing the old felt, etc.Simple and easy to fit.Not much more than a hammer, a sharp blade (to cut the felt) and a sealing gun for the mastic, required to do the job.Only slight issue is with the number of tacks (could have done with 50 more!).And word of warning; don't lean your ladder against the newly installed felt at the edge of the roof, it does nick easily (but the sealant came in useful for that!) best to put something between the ladder and the felt, so it doesn't tear/nick.It was raining a bit as I installed it, hence the slightly wet look on the photo.

All reasonably ok, arrived quickly but they don't supply enough adhesive or nails for the amount of felt supplied so you will need to buy more. Also, frustratingly I needed to use the entire length of felt, but when is was rolled up it was secured with some sort of adhesive resin. This was very difficult to remove and when eventually this task was completed it left a mark on the felt which is now on my shed roof so does not look as good as it could. Shame.

it just rips - it rips if you touch it - put a nail through it anything. I put a strip of this on my shed roof as a temp repair. It was a miserable cold but dry day so I took time off work to do the essential repair. Because I used this appalling felt it will need doing again as soon as it is dry again. This will come off at the first wind where it has already ripped. What a waste of both time, energy and money.

Was rather disappointed with this roofing felt, I brought it for the green colour, but most definitely NOT green, grey is the actual colour, very thin so makes it rather hard to work with. but it's doing the job and is definitely waterproof, so semi happy with this item. The measurements on the actual roll were very misleading, according to the paper on the roll we would need 4,we had a 12x8 shed and brought 2 rolls which covered it perfectly with some left over. the free nails and adhesive were good quality.

The felt is thin although good enough for what I wanted. I was supposed to get free glue and tacks. What I got was a small packet of tacks and a tube of guttering sealant!!

It was delivered fast. It has few nails inside the package but i bought another box just in case. i also bought a special knife to cut it. We did one shed very fast. It was easy to cut it and hammer the nail. We did two layers on one of the sheds, covered it all and even managed to hammer one layer on top of another shed. yes, it is expensive but 2 sheds completely covered for the winter. Very good result.

Very poor product. The material is very thin. Paper like. I installed it on my shed roof after replacing the old felt. Next bit of rain it leaked. I contacted the seller and after a few message exchanges they agreed to refund me after I returned it. Excuse me ? Return it? . The felt is stuck on the roof leaking. To take it off would mean it would be in bits. Also they wanted me to pay postage. Complained to customer services. No help. My advise is beware when buying from third party sellers. Amazon are no help when something goes wrong.
