Mantelpiece Bling
These are two grand lion’s very good moulded replica’s I agree with another comment that one of the eyes a bit wonky. Apart from that I have been looking for a long time for something like these & I have to say Toscano have got some great things.

Not great quality, but okay
Look nice from a distance, but cheap close up. The bottom of each lion isn't properly level, so they dont sit nicely - that's quite noticeable. Plus one lion has a manic staring eye! I've got the stone versions of these, and the difference in them is noticeable.

Not so good in details in frontpaws
Based on price, fairly ok. Details on paws was really bad, one looking like a lump and on the other lion one paw is looking cut of. Toscano should really redo the molds and fix this, it is bad craftsmanship to continue with the same molds.

I loro prodotti arrivano sempre ben imballati (e non è un dettaglio da sottovalutare.. con altre case concorrenti ciò non avviene) e si presentano ottimamente, con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Questi leoni, che richiamano quelli scolpiti dal Canova a guardia della tomba di Papa Clemente XIII in San Pietro, danno un tocco originale ed elegante all'ambiente in cui vengono esposti. Risultano sufficientemente solidi e ben scolpiti. Acquisto che rifarei.

These lions are absolutely stunning. They are a little bigger than the cast iron versions that you can find used. Extremely happy with this purchase, and I may look into this company for more interesting ideas.
