Hally Hair Shade Stix, Blue Color, Temporary Hair Color for Kids & Adults

I recently purchased the Shade Stix Blue from Hally Hair, and I have to say, I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase! As someone who frequently experiments with hair color, I am always on the lookout for high-quality hair color products that are easy to use and provide stunning results. The Shade Stix ticks all of those boxes and more. Firstly, the Shade Stix Blue is incredibly easy to apply. The product is transferred onto the hair with a mascara stick, which makes it easy to apply precisely where you want it. I love that I don't have to worry about any messy drips or spills when using this product. It glides on smoothly and evenly, allowing me to achieve the exact shade of blue that I was hoping for. But what really sets the Shade Stix apart from other hair color products is the quality of the color itself. The blue is bold and vibrant, and it looks absolutely stunning in my hair. I've received so many compliments on my new look since I started using this product, and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. WARNING: do NOT use if you’re looking for something not subtle. The only reason I would leave a star, if I had a choice, is it looks okay for streaks or light highlights, but impossible for anything more. The application method is a hassle, and made a huge mess on my sink. The worst part: they lied. They said it was mess free, but I did everything it said, left it in for more than a minute, and it got all over my forehead. My scalp and hands were blue, and I had to SHAMPOO WITH DAWN! Not only that, it also would come off on my fingers. any time I lightly touched the dyed hair, my fingers were even bluer than before. It basically turned to dust in my hair, and was so faded it was less vibrant than my fingers by the end of the day. I promise I did everything it said. This is the product error, not mine

I bought this for my son who was in TK for crazy hair day. He wanted a bright blue and this color was perfect. One side of the stick is a spooly brush (kinda like a mascara brush) where you brush the color on. The other side is a comb to use after so it can be distributed throughout the hair. My son has short hair so I only needed to use the spooly and it came on evenly. The biggest down fall is it doesn’t last long at all. When I went to pick my son up from school the paint was practically gone. He said all the other kids was touching it. He asked to re-apply it when we got home. So, I did and a couple hours later it was pretty much gone again. Although, my son loved it I don’t think I would repurchase it. The paint just doesn’t stay on and comes off way to easily.

I really like this wash-out hair color! The shades are vibrant and show up nicely, which makes it fun to use. It also dries pretty quickly, so you don’t have to wait around too long before styling your hair. It does come off a bit though so just be careful with that. One of my favorite features is the comb applicator—it makes the application process so much easier and less messy. Overall, a super convenient and enjoyable product to use!

I bought this for my daughter’s beach soccer tournament, and it was such a hit! The color was vibrant, fun, and totally kid-friendly. It went on easily and washed out just as promised—no mess, no staining. She loved the temporary flair and it stayed in through the whole day of sun, sweat, and sand. Definitely a great way to add some personality without the commitment. We’ll be buying more for future events!

The temporary shade stix colors are super fun for something a little crazy & different! However, not my favorite product of theirs. The color goes on a little tricky for long hair. I did use my own gloves as none were provided. Color does stain your skin and doesn’t wash right off. The inside stick to apply the color doesn’t hold much color and gets somewhat tangled in long hair (my hair is at least 24” from root to ends). I did one small patch of my hair with this product and the color does look super cool! It did get somewhat caked on, likely because I really wanted the color to show up. It dries kind of firm and when I did comb through my hair the color flakes off and made a huge mess on my hands, shirt, counter and sink. Not sure how it will wash out in 1 wash as it did stain my sink and skin. Overall Hally the company, and the products are great & everything else I’ve used has been stellar! Their customer service is top notch and they take care of their customers!

I used this for my halloween costume, I was avatar and wanted blue streaks in my hair. This product was perfect and not sticky at all! It dried super fast and easily washed out. The applicator makes it super easy to use because it is precise so the color can get exactly where you want it to be. I put the color down small braids in my hair and it looked so cool! The bottle will definitely last a long time and is so worth it for the low price!
