We bought these for my daughter and her friends could colour their hair for a costume party they went to. My daughter has blond hair and these worked very well on her hair, on one of her friends who had very dark hair it didn't really work as well. ( Thought perhaps this is obvious anyway ? )So I would say great for lighter coloured hair but be more wary if you want to use on very dark coloured hair.The good news is it washes out very easily, so no awkward conversations at school on Monday mornings...

Got these for Christmas gifts, but kept for myself,love the red pink purple,people keep telling me how nice it looks, I'm 70 and feel very with it, great fun love they, I do find tho because my hair is coloured blonde,it absorbs the colour,and there's still a residue after washing, takes 2 washes to completely remove.but love them,x

my kids enjoyed playing with this chalk combthey used it on a mannequin head and o mine the mannequin must have bn screaming for escape...lolquite straight forward to use though some of the calls fell out of the comb but could be inserted back inwould like to have these combs in a string pouch bag for storageit's a good set for young girls...if you content to spend mucheasy to wash away if your hands are stained
