Cressi Light Fins, Short Swimming Fins for Adults, Snorkel Flippers

I've been having leg power problems when getting back in to swimming freestyle (poor technique and lack of fitness) and so started using swim fins provided at my gym along with a kick-board. However, the borrowed fins were old and way too tight. But I can already feel the difference after only a couple a visits a week over the past few weeks. So I decided to invest in a pair of my own in the right size. I ordered these Cressi Light Swim Fins on Thursday in the early afternoon. They arrived by courier on Friday just after lunch thanks to a free Amazon Prime trial - amazing service! I am now one very happy customer with a pair of properly fitting swim fins which look really cool. I can't wait to try them out in the pool tomorrow! *** UPDATE *** Having now used these fins twice, I can honestly say that they are fantastic! My legs really ache after several lengths as they are giving my muscles a real work out. Really fast in the pool, but extremely comfortable with no chaffing. The inside of the shoe is a smooth, soft rubber which is very flexible, making them really easy to put on and take off. Highly recommended! *** FURTHER UPDATE *** Now Feb 2014. Size can be an issue! During mid-2013, I noticed that the grey rubber at the corner of the toe hole on one of my fins had started to split! Right up from the corner of the soft top-of-foot grey rubber at the toe hole. After a couple more months of use, this has spread to two splits on each fin at the same place (one on each side). The fins still work fine, but I have un-sightly tears in my fins and a loose flap of rubber flapping about on top of each foot. Because of this, the remaining rubber of the upright part of the foot molding, attached to the blade of the fin, rubs against my toes and causes annoyance, discomfort and distraction while swimming. I believe this is probably because of the sizing, as I have one foot half a UK size larger than the other and I really need a 44-45 Euro size to compensate. Also, the fins seem to be designed to be universal and are not marked for left or right, so its easy to get them mixed up - hence the damage to both fins. So please be aware of this. Having said all that, I have used the fins quite a lot - probably an average of 3 times a week for around 45 minutes per session with quite hard freestyle leg kick. I can't fault them for comfort, effectiveness, looks or value for money. Everyone asks about them, the first time they see them and I've probably sold quite a few pairs for Cressi! :) NB: My wife also has a pair of these fins in white, and she loves them. She has been using hers for over a year, now, for an average of five sessions a week with no problems. She doesn't even use the supplied foot shapers which come with the fins, so perhaps hers fit better than mine do. I'll be investing in another pair of these fins very soon, as they appear (to me) to be the best on the market.

Great pair of fins, i bought these to fit in airline carry-on bag, and they fit great in a small carry-on bag (to save paying the ridiculous baggage fees). Great quality, i have bought larger Cressci fins and will continue to do so, my wige aslo bought a pair. Size is true, im a size 8 and fit great, wife is a 6, again great fit and dont come off at all when swimming. I thought i would miss the larger fins for snorkelling, but no, these move you quite swiftly through and under the water; and no strain on ankles either. Highly recommended.

Great fit, my first pair so not much to compare with but loved them, easy to put on and get off. Definitely improved my performance.

Bought these to go to Menorca for snorkeling, and found them very good. I already had a pair of fins, but they were considerably bigger. These easily fitted into my suitcase on the aircraft, and into my backpack for walking to the beach. They were idea for snorkeling; I would go for over 60 minutes and found them not too tiring. Would really recommend them.

Only used once so far. Easier to use than long fins. Felt light. Nice fit. Look good.

Lasted well with regular use in the pool. True to size and didn't slip off.

The fins are comfortable and I'm happy with the quality. I prefer the light weight over some alternatives.

Absolutely perfect. I wear a size 10.5 shoe, and have a high instep. The 43/44 is an exact fit. Easy to get on and off. No swimming around in the fin. It's the perfect snugness. Easily the best fin I've owned.

Muy contento con ellas y justo lo que esperaba. Es cierto que al principio consideré cambiarlas, porque cogí un 45-46 (en zapatillas de correr utilizo un 45,5, pero a veces si no me da el ancho en el dedo pequeño del pie derecho tengo que probar el 46. En algunos modelos me vale y en otros ya es muy grande), pero probablemente debería haber cogido una talla menos. El tobillo me ajusta bien, pero en el talón me sobra un dedo/dedo y medio. No molesta, pero sí noto que sobra más de lo normal y los dedos apenas me asoman, solo el dedo gordo. Con patadas muy fuertes a veces se nota raro, probablemente por sobrarme un poco, pero en unos días me acostumbré. Si no las cambié fue porque últimamente compré varios libros y, como suele ser habitual por desgracia, la mayoría llegaron tocados, aunque nunca me han puesto pegas para cambiarlos. Y ya me daba cosa molestar otra vez para un cambio. En otra valoración he leído que se hace más fuerza, pero que se nada más lento que sin aletas. Obviamente cada uno tenemos nuestras sensaciones, pero es justo todo lo contrario, con aletas vuelas y eso es lo primero que dice alguien que prueba unas aletas (estas u otras) por primera vez, ya sea compradas o porque se las dejamos probar algún otro nadador. Sí se hace más fuerza, pero con la cantidad de agua que desplaza y al ser más hidrodinámico, se nada más rápido con las aletas puestas que sin ellas (con cualquier tipo: largas, cortas, blandas, medias o duras). Son más rígidas que las típicas aletas de goma blanda, ya sean de Arena, Speedo, Decathlon, etc., pero por ejemplo no tan duras como las negras con letras y líneas rojas de Decathlon. Esas las he probado, son completamente rígidas y cargan mas las piernas. Estas son duras, pero no son planas, están curvadas hacia abajo y, aunque son rígidas, tienen cierto grado de flexibilidad, son un punto medio entre las cortas de silicona muy blanditas y las super rigidas. Estas son duras, pero a mi me gustan. Además, estéticamente son muy bonitas, así que de momento contento, hace falta ver cuánto duran. No es lo mismo que aguanten tres meses de uso o un par de años. Aunque técnicamente son aletas de natación, también funcionan bien para bucear haciendo apnea (al menos a ras de suelo de la piscina, no las he probado en el mar bajando a más profundidad).Asi que son aptas para natación y bucear un poco 🏊‍♂️🤿 ✅👍 Buena marca, conocida dentro del sector ✅👍 Funcionan perfectamente para hacer más fuerza y fortalecer las piernas, pero también para dejarnos llevar si ya estamos cansados y que las piernas floten con el mínimo esfuerzo ✅👍 Desplazan una gran masa de agua 🌊 ✅👍 Son bonitas estéticamente, en concreto el azul que tengo yo es muy “acuático” ❓ Yo compré las aletas del 45-46 y utilizo un 45,5 en el calzado cuando es posible. Probablemente debería haber comprado una talla menos 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗮𝗰𝗶ó𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰: A finales de julio, se hizo una raja en la esquina en las dos aletas, las dos en el mismo lado (y siempre usaba la misma aleta para cada pie, porque las tenía marcadas). La del pie izquierdo siguió igual, pero la del derecho en la primera semana de agosto ya era una raja irregular (zigzag) de más de 3 cm. El uso fue el verano pasado y este, ya que no nadé en la cubierta. Sinceramente ya las daba por perdidas y pensaba comprarme otras, pero otro nadador me dijo que hablara con Amazon, que el no ya lo tenía. Y muy bien por el soporte de Amazon y por Cressi. Me dijeron que tienen una garantía de 3 años, hicieron reembolso y compré otras. Aunque al final, probé unas Cressi Agua Short Fins y me quede con esas, lo malo es que tuve que devolverlas porque en este caso me quedaban pequeñas y a los 10-15 días tenía heridas justo antes de donde empieza la uña de los dedos gordos y la verdad, les costo casi un mes curarse por completo, en esas al reves que en estas, necesitaba un numero mas. Pero esa es otra historia, lo que me recuerda que aun no he escrito la valoración de las otras. Son parecidas pero un poco mas blandas. Añado fotos con las grietas/rajas. ✅👍 Garantia de Cressi 💯%
