If you like a feelgood musical with witty dialogue - this is a good option.

Very good

It’s a fun movie. That’s all. Watched this over Christmas after not seeing the movie since I was Around 13! Also the music and singing are so moving.

This is well worth a watch/buy. Its a lovely plot, amazing cast, I've seen this film many times. Well worth purchasing, I can't recommend it enough

Funny uplifting up beat. Good film to watch

LOVED it the first time I saw it. Still love it every time I re-watch. Beyonce is beautiful (and young!) - fun to hear her sing gospel, and in a much more simpler style of music. Cuban G. is fun and funny. The O'Jay's are still amazing, with their barbershop rendition of "Love Me Like a Rock", and a fun funky, rap, laid back new take on "Down By the Riverside". Another film which may not have been released in France?

Aber Achtung! Die tiefgründigen Anspielungen und der eigentliche Witz der über Slapstick hinaus geht erschließt sich nur, wenn man die Menschen und ihre Mentalität in den Südstaaten von Amerika kennt und mag. Am Besten auf Englisch ansehen.

j'adore ce film, je ne suis pas déçue de cet achat. après on achète pas ce film pour ce cultiver...hors mis d'un point de musical a la rigueur. Mais il est reste divertissant, et sympa a regarder quand on ne veut pas faire fonctionner plus de 4 neurones.

Ce film nous montre que l'on peut choisir la quiétude, la vie paisible aux paillettes dorées de cette vie.
