Used for boiling bee hive frames and parts, this was purchased asa replacement for a single burner. Surprised that it seems completely cast iron (as opposed to just the rings), and is strong enough to cope with the weight of a metal tank full of water. Easy to connect the gas supply; ignites immediately and is simple to adjust. Good clean flame and heats up very quickly. Cannot thing of anything negative to say about this product and I’m glad I bought it.

The box arrives and you feel it is from a penny pinching manufacturer. There was one lose nut and bolt that fell from the box and inside a small plastic bag with a plethora of nuts and bolts and I only needed half of them. (The nut that fell out needed to be put back into position.) This was not a positive start. Next there are no instructions whatsoever. I was prepared for that having read other reviews, but it was a little daunting. With a pinch of common sense it soon became apparent what went where. Just one word of advice: For one horrible moment I thought the gas pipe with the controller knobs was not going to fit the gas hobs. But the fittings for the hobs are adjustable if you look at the back. Sturdy piece of kit. Good flame. I am very happy with it.

Simple design, and a great price. Twice as powerful as the tiny ones for sale, and you can cook things in a proper pan, because it has some umpf to it.

On opening the box the cooker looked poor but once assembled and more importantly used it is really a great piece of kit. In fact I have even seen one of the TV chefs using one out doors. so would thoroughly recommend this cooker..

We bought this double gas ring for our open day event. It was used all afternoon for boiling our two kettles. The ladies on the cake stall sold around 500 cups of tea - so that gives you an idea that it was well used and passed with flying colours. It took about 15-20mins to put together. The instructions could be a little better. But it wasn't that difficult to work out. Several people asked where we got it from as they wanter to buy one too. worth the money.

The burner has a few design faults and the nuts and bolts don't match. The seller isn't interested in solving the problems only a return/refund was offered. Their own description is 'BEST QUALITY ' - it's very poor quality. Spend your money elsewhere. Very disappointing. Definitely would not recommend.

At first I thought it looked unsafe but the air gap is fine as it draws the gas and air, works well, wouldn't ever leave it unattended and would be useless if too windy but boils water fast. Some rust under the paint so I'm not sure of the quality of the metal but at the price this is easily fixed

arrived on time but there were several nuts and bolts missing.....a new set of fixings arrived quite quickly but still a few missing bits. the final pack did the job. easy to assemble but despite fiddling with the air adjustment, one burner burns cleaner and hotter than the other
