I think it’s Matte. Not shine but it’s beautiful.

Do you face the printed side down or up?

In my Cricut Maker, the print with the shiny cover goes face down and the image is mirrored before cutting.

Does this need a transfer tape or is the glue already attached?

Transfer tape helps transfer your vinyl to the shirt. All vinyl has the "glue" already on it. Your vinyl will stick as you apply heat to it and as long as you have heat transfer vinyl.

Good product

These are durable vinyls, a little hard to work with after the heat transfer(removing film), but they are great, been washed several times and they hold up well. The selection of patterns was great. Once you figure out the temperature, they adhere well.
