Like a lot of people today, I don't wear a watch. I check the time on my phone or the computer I am sitting in front of. But when I want to dress up, I want a watch that speaks to me being an adult, and not just wearing the digital watch du jour. This is not a high end luxury watch, but it is a nice watch to go with a suit. The watch is analog with a stop watch feature and a indicator when you are in the first or second half of the day (AM or PM). None of those functions are why I selected the watch, but rather I liked the way the features looked on the watch. In this case form triumphed over function. Since I don't wear a watch normally, it felt heavy on my arm, but that is probably more of a "me" issue than an issue with the watch.

I wanted a watch that looked good for going out, and this one fit the bill. It keeps good time, tells me the date and has a nice leather band that is perfect for more formal situations. I won't be using it as my everyday watch, but it's certainly good enough for most situations. The extra dials look good as well, though I'm not sure how often I will need it as a stopwatch, or to see what phase the moon is in. With a 12 month guarantee, I'm not sure how long it will last, and for the price, I don't think I would go to the trouble to get it repaired. For my purposes, it fits the bill and I'm pleased to have it.

This is a nice looking watch with a date window and a stop watch, but the “moon-phase” is actually just a day/night (AM/PM) indicator.

I ordered an Olev with the white face. Everything came as it should, and I was satisfied, so far. Wore the watch off and on for about 3 months then suddenly it just stopped working. Tried contacting the company and the phone number listed is invalid. Amazon was kind enough to accept it as a return so I was able to receive my $ back minus a restocking fee, but I was given that as a credit. Shame, I really liked the watch and got compliments.
