True 1.5V AA batteries.
26/Nov/2024: This helped me with devices that require 1.5V to operate where rechargeable NiMH batteries only provide 1.2V and failed to operate. Now I can save buying disposable alkaline AA batteries. Keep in mind the charger is for the provided 1.5V AA lithium ion recharble batteries. DON'T use NiMH batteries with this charger or the 1.5 lithium ion batteries with NiMH charger. There is one charger available compatible with both XTAR BC8 since XTAR is another 1.5V AA batteries manufacturer which I also recommend. I will update if I got any issues with the product.

Bonnes batteries et bon chargeur.
Le chargeur fonctionne bien, on peut aussi charger seuleument 3 batteries si ont veut. Les piles durent longtemps, on verra si elles peuvent faire 1000 charges .
