Henckels Silvano 45-pc 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Silver

Just got in the mail this week. Very sturdy silverware and comfortable to hold and use. My partner and I like the simple modern design too of this European style set. Not cheaply or too light weight, but also not bulky or too heavy either. Just right.

Beautiful and great quality silverware. Knives are sharp, and silverware is easy to clean. Great value for the money.

My silverware was getting old and slowly disappearing. I loved the look of these. They’re great quality and lightweight. Easy to clean. They’ll be easy for my kids to use too. The regular forks aren’t so long that I want to use the salad for either, so I’ll look like an adult when I eat with them. They have a lifetime warranty too, which is a major bonus. We’ll have these a long time.

Makes for a very attractive place setting. The silverware has a really nice, unique design. I wish they had a little more weight but seem to be holding up very well and come out if the dishwasher looking shiny and new.

I absolutely loved this silverware when I got it. It’s attractive, nice weight and edges not sharp. Unfortunately after only using for a fairly short time I found rust spots on two of my knives. That’s just unacceptable. I thought I was getting decent quality silverware but no. Very disappointed as I really loved it.

I am on a perpetual hunt/buy for flatware like when I was a kid--good quality but not sized as if for giants or pretend Europeans. The first set I bought when married was an excellent quality Oneida set where all the weight was in the handles and the knives would fly off the plates like magic to the floor. I have since then bought literally dozens of sets, mostly "vintage" bought as NOS as well as contemporary sets. The contemporary sets are all outsized and I don't like them.This set is the best modern one I have found. The size is not silly and their finish is excellent. They are "light" but pick one up and try to flex it--they are very firm and substantial then. I have had no problems with rust OR staining (which on some sets is mistaken as "rust", also never use any lemon products on flatware).
