This is not a con in any way but this set is huge. For some reason I looked at the listing pics and presumed they were little pocket sized frames, as happens sometimes when one is shopping online. They are full sized I believe 8 inch frames and they're awesome. This is a way bigger project than I thought it was going to be, but it's a phenomenal value considering you get four hoops and four sets of project. I'm a beginner to felting and thrilled that I can have one to practice on and one to do once I have more skills in this area. Would also be really fun to do in a group or as a teambuilding thing I think. Love, love, love it. I will update if there's any issue with the projects themselves but I won't be able to tell that for a while.

It didn't really come with instructions, so if you're new to it, its kinda a guessing game to start with, but once you figure it out it’s a lot of fun. Super cute picture too!! Cotton is soft and they give multiple needles to make it easier or if yours breaks from how thin they are.

This is a great kit and you get two! You can practice on one or invite someone to make one with you. You get everything you need to make this lovely felted desert cactus scene. I have never felted anything. This will be a new experience for me. The directions are detailed and there is a link to a video, too.The plastic hoop acts as a picture frame. Included are different colored wool, felt needles, a piece of plain white felt, photo directions, and a foam pad. The scene is outlined on a piece of felt so you will know where to place your felting pieces. If you are a beginner like me, do a little reading on felting. Learn the dos and don’t. Then have fun.

We ha e used othe kits for our beginners and they were amazing, however this one fell short mainly because the "wool" was synthetic and not beginner friendly. I wish I could rate higher, we really wanted to love it.

This is a beautiful set/kit. It is very well made, and the materials are of excellent quality. Very pretty design. It is a step above the beginner level. The video and the instructions are well-designed and help you along. I recommend it.

I really enjoyed working on this. It would have given it a 5 star review if the set included enough white wool to complete both projects.

The kit comes with everything you need- times 2, so you can do it twice and give as gifts,or do it with a friend!The instuctions are in full-color and very clear and easy to understand, plus, there is a code to a youtube video that walks you through how to make it.Comes with pre-printed fabric, wool roving, needles, a foam block, and a wooden hoop.
