These are deep enough to keep the food from getting shoved out while my cats eat yet shallow & wide enough for each cat to eat w/out smashing their whiskers.They are microwave & dishwasher safe yet I don't microwave my cats food so I don't know if it's true. I will be ordering 2 more because my 2 cats prefer food in these bowls rather than the round deep ones I was using. The black & white leopard pattern looks good with other black accessories I have for them.

Interesting shape. Serves purpose. But my cat stopped eating out of it recently. Not sure why. Now serves as a window decoration.

I purchased these cat dishes, my cat seem to like them. The only problem was the food around the edges get left. Great dishes for kittens.
