Haven't actually opened it as it's a gift for my son but looks great and can barely wait to give it to him .

I expect any dinosaur-mad child will love this. The toy is well-made, a good size and feels durable and robust.To me, it doesn’t seem that you can do an awful lot with him. But, I guess that’s generally the case with these kinds of model type toys and I suppose he may well do more than most. You can waggle his tail, which twists his neck. And pushing a couple of buttons make his battle scars light up and make him roar (it was loud and ferocious enough sounding to scare the cat!)To be fair, you can also scan his ‘chip’ with a smart phone and open up more activities and games there, but I haven’t done this yet.He is quite well-detailed, though has weird little ‘hands’ that look like little doll hands!I can’t really not mention the price. As Jurassic Park merchandise that’s been made by Mattel, you know you’re going to pay a premium. £45.61 (current price at time of writing review - discounted from £49.99 - with Prime delivery) still seems steep, however. Especially as the idea is to make these dinosaurs battle with each other, so the manufacturers obviously hope we will buy more than one and then play out these epic battles.That said, it would make a cool gift for a dinosaur/Jurassic Park fan or collector.

I love this Carnotaurus. It has fantastic build quality, all the plastic feels substantial and robust, it has great durability, so it should last for a very long time. The articulation of the Dinosaur is excellent. You twist his tail and his neck moves side to side. He has 3 buttons in total, 1 on the top at the base of his spine, if you press this and he chomps and roars.Then we have 2 damage buttons near his rib cage, if you press these they light up, showing the damage scars, along with massive screams from the Carnotaurus. The Carnotaurus legs also move, so you can move him in different positions, creating different looks and stances, which gives more hours of playability.We also have an interactive pull-out tab. This is on he's tail, scan the tab on your phone by downloading the Jurassic World facts app, for even more interaction with augmented reality.This is a fantastic figure. The Carnotaurus is highly detailed, with his rough skin, sharp teeth, sharp claws, and spiky spine. Everything is true to life and represents the species perfectly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

He loves the way it bites & moves his face & neck when you make it thrash it’s tail, it’s also got great sound & light effects. It’s now his favourite toy & it’s had many fights with his t-Rex. There is also a barcode in its tail the you can scan to down load a game.

This Carnotaurus dinosaur toy is from Jurassic world has quite a bit of detail. It is battery operated which allows it to have some sound effects when certain parts of the body are pressed. There are three areas on the body that can be pressed. Two of them are on the right side and when pressed, they glow and pulsate with a red colour along the slash lines and the dinosaur makes a painful roar sound each time it is pressed. There are three different sounds when pressed to show a different damage level and it just cycles through the three each time it is pressed. The third is on its lower back and when pressed, the mouth opens, and a loud roar is heard. Twisting the tail also controls the neck and rotating the tail left and right makes the neck do the same. Pulling the tail up and down also moves the neck up and down.The feet, legs, and arms are moveable so you can pose them how you like, and they are easy to move. The arms do look a little out of place as they do look like little dolls arms but looking at pictures of the dinosaur online, the arms look fairly accurate.There is also a little slide out chip in the tail which reveals a code. This is for use in the app which lets you play around with a full 3D model of the Carnotaurus. The app supports augmented reality so you can bring the dinosaur to life inside your own living room which I still find fascinating. There is also a little game you can play where you drive around in a jeep and try to catch dinosaurs.This is lovely dinosaur from Jurassic Park which my son absolutely loves. It can be articulated in a way that allows it to move quite lifelike with the methods available and the roar sounds are really good to hear.
